Hal Johnson
Wilson vs Cherry! Howard Berger:...When informed that Cherry has referred to him as “Napoleonâ€, Wilson said, “Well, whatever Don Cherry wants to say… y’know, I’ll compare [coaching] records with Don Cherry. Napoleon? He can call me whatever he wants. You know what [Cherry’s] nickname is, don’t you?â€Yes, “Grapesâ€. “And, where do you think that comes from?†Wilson asked, walking back to his office – the inference being that Cherry’s moniker, short for “Sour Grapesâ€, indicates the TV icon has routinely complained about and criticized others through the years [most NHL referees from the late-’70s would heartily agree]. Booche
So I was flipping channels while Les Brahs were on intermissions as well as catching the last 10 minutes of the third. What a fucking game. That was some high energy skating. Hell, even the shootout was crazy good finished by Ryder's wicked snapshot. Talk about a dagger to me and Leafs Nation. AD
hagman's shift in the first was awesome - nailed by the ref, hit in the face with a shot, crosschecked in the head, then a beauty move out of the corner for a goal.

Booche
Roller's 'future superstar' and golden boy is at it again:The frustration of a winless road trip through Florida boiled over at practice on Friday as Toronto Maple Leafs rookie Mikhail Grabovski and veteran Jason Blake were involved in an on-ice skirmish. ForbinHood
Big deal. If they could bring that sort of intensity and defensive play all season that would be a different story.

Jaimoe
Mats showed more emotion in his interview with Elliot after the game than I'd ever seen out of the big guy. God love him (Mats that is).
