Jaimoe
It Doesnt Really MatterOuch!I hated Platinum Blonde back in the 80's and their music still makes me cringe when their videos air regularly on the MuchRetro channel and I don't care for their lead singer and current Toronto DJ Mark Holmes, but this is all pretty shocking and sad. Platinum Blonde are an iconic piece of Canadian 80's rock.
Irie Guy
I never hated them in the 80's. I never owned an LP or Tape but I could sing along to a lot of their hits. We certainly had a strong homegrown new wave thing going on here in Canada.Strange AdvanceImages In VoguePlatinum BlondeThe SpoonsBlue PeterMen Without HatsRough TradeLots of diagonal zippers, hair spray and eye makeup. bouche
I loved Platinum Blonde. I think I was in grade 7-8 ish and my friend Jeff would crank up the PB and get on his brothers huge drum kit. That was a lot of fun to watch.
