Ms.Huxtable
Wowee wow wow! I had a remarkable time. A hot tub soak, an incredible dinner and a great little show. My favorite part though was the ride back to the Mill from Kevin, who we found out was also staying there. The three of us hung out in the lounge until 2:30am just shooting the shit. He is so interesting the hours flew by. We met up with him again for breakfast and were politely asked by the staff to move to the lounge because breakfast had turned to lunch and they needed the table back! An amazing time. Thank you Kevin!BTW - He's in Kingston tonight. If you can get there, do it!
Velvet
What an invigoratingly good show last night. Apart from CRAvery blowing my fucking mind in the last two songs I caught, Kevin's set was utterly different than any Kevin show I've seen. Total bonus that he had John Geggie accompanying him on double bass. What a talent.
bouche
I can't remember the name of the place that he's playing at tonight. It's a venue that is at a hotel at 72 or 74 Dalton Ave off of Division. It starts with an "O".anyone know of that venue? I know, that's sort of vague information. Ms.Huxtable
As an aside, I picked up his CD called Burnt Bulb on Broadway, which is a compilation album of women covering songs written by Kevin Breit and played on Piano by his brother, Gary Breit. It just served to make me appreciate him even more. The man can craft a song. What a beautiful listen.
