I used my aunt but she is in Toront so no use to you. Also Check out the east or west end Center can be really scetchy (not in a good way). phishtaper Posted July 17, 2009 Report Share Posted July 17, 2009 mls.ca is the best resource out there. that and just driving around neighbourhoods. try looking around cumberland ave between wentworth and gage. it's just under the brow. it may be a tiny bit east of where you want, but there are some really nice houses that are selling for half to two-thirds the price of what they'd be in westdale. hamilton is ALL about location, location, location. also, i have friends who have purchased in the area off dundurn between main and york. smaller houses, some are fixer-uppers, but it is supposed to be an up and coming area. I hope to make this happen in the next month, so let me know if you see any killer properties up for sale. I'm hoping to be anywhere within a 20 minute walk of the GO Station.
