I just arrived in NYC to see Paul McCartney open Citi Field

I just arrived in New York City around 10am today to see Sir Paul McCartney open the Mets new home Citi Field, just as the Beatles did with Shea Stadium back in 1965.

I can't wait to see what McCartney decides to play to open the new stadium and if he brings out some special guests? I'm expecting Billy Joel as then McCartney would be returning the favor from last year where Joel closed Shea Stadium with Paul. I'm hoping for Stevie Wonder who's in NYC this weekend for a tribute to Nelson Mandela, and I'm also hoping that Eric Clapton and Neil Young come out and play with Paul.

Peace,

Tim

Why is there a tribute to Nelson Mandela, Eric Clapton and Neil Young? What is the theme here?

My bad, In my rush I didn't write properly who I was in hopes of seeing with Sir Paul McCartney tonight. I ended up getting Billy Joel, which was fitting.

I'm tired and tomorrow is a big day of night two at Citi Field and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex so I will just post the setlist now.

7. Foxy Lady

Jimi Hendrix?

DaveO sent me the Halifax setlist a few days ago and I forgot that was on there until now and meant to ask him the same question, unless I did and forgot.

Really? Jimi?

Yep, McCartney does a short instrumental version of "Foxey Lady" at the end of "Let Me Roll It." Paul's been doing it since his tour in 2005.

Peace,

Tim
