TimmyB
I just arrived in New York City around 10am today to see Sir Paul McCartney open the Mets new home Citi Field, just as the Beatles did with Shea Stadium back in 1965.I can't wait to see what McCartney decides to play to open the new stadium and if he brings out some special guests? I'm expecting Billy Joel as then McCartney would be returning the favor from last year where Joel closed Shea Stadium with Paul. I'm hoping for Stevie Wonder who's in NYC this weekend for a tribute to Nelson Mandela, and I'm also hoping that Eric Clapton and Neil Young come out and play with Paul.Peace,Tim Edited July 18, 2009 by Guest
bouche
too bad you missed the late Night appearance. Glad to see the whole thing available for streaming even to Canadians (rare for TV content!).Wicked choice of Wings tunes. I have to wonder if most of the crowd thought they were all new songs. Have a great time!

dave-O
His show in Halifax last weekend was epic, to say the least. It was the first performance of Day Tripper by any Beatle since Candlestick 1968. Now that's a bust out!

Paul's been doing it since his tour in 2005.Peace,Tim
