TimmyB
Timmy B, we're still waiting for your glorious list!!!I'm working on it the list, it takes me hours to figure out how many gigs I've seen in a year and then even more time to figure out all the acts that were at those gigs.Peace,Tim
Northern Wish
For festivals, do you include all acts or only the ones that you saw? And on that note, is there a minimum watch time or does it matter if you heard them as opposed to saw them? How 'bout bands you're in or sat in with?I'd assume that bands that were openning acts and you missed them don't count either?I noted in my follow up post that for my purposes, a 30 minute minimum gets you on the list! Jaimoe
Hey Laurie,It took me several hours but I finally got my complete list of the gigs and artists that I saw in 2009. Hartamophone
not sure why phishheads are singled out? your list puts pretty much any other band's fans to shame as well!?I think Phisheads are singled out because of the legions of them (and I do not believe that you are included in this) who think that band is the be-all, end-all and think it would be cooler to amass a list of 40 Phish shows in a year than to experience something like the year Timmy B had.But it wasn't my post, so I'm only speculating. And agreeing. I think.
TimmyB
not sure why phishheads are singled out? your list puts pretty much any other band's fans to shame as well!?I don't now why phishheads are singled out either. I look at myself as a phishhead, they were the act I saw the most in 2009 (7 times). I just personally would rather diversify my concert going over the year as I love so many different artists and genres of music.I respect Jaimoe's opinion and if I don't agree with his opinion I usually understand where it comes from. So I took his compliment at face value.Peace,Tim
