Davey Boy 2.0
Rumours that Manchester United have looked to sell Howard Webb have proved baseless as Sir Alex Ferguson went on record today stating that he is far too valuable to the club. That's my 2nd favorite comment of this fantastic deadline day, 2nd only to this from the BBC...(sorry ollie, all in good fun)"So Chelsea get Torres, Liverpool get Carroll, while Spurs try to sign....Phil Neville."I love you, trade deadline day. You rule.
mister slippery
I'd love to see Torres move confirmed, as immediately as possible. It seems we have just loaned Daniel Sturridge to Bolton for the rest of the season. It seems that Torres could do a decent job of replacing him. And, if all comes true, Sunday is Chelsea v Liverpool II. What a scene. :chug: :chug: :chug: :chug: :chug: :chug:

mister slippery
If you refer to Chelsea, it all helps a ton. Goals, and a replacement for the declining (I hate saying it) John Terry. If Liverpool, Carroll plus 15 million pounds ain't so bad.

mister slippery
Whew! Might have strung myself up if Chelsea had lost the double to f$&king Sunderland.4-2 suits me fine, after 2-2 at the half. :content:
ollie
Bah. Spurs falling out of the race for 4th now. Chelsea got better. Liverpool got better. Dodgy string of results lately. Will vdV stick around for the Europa league? Bale? Will be tough to attract talent too. The lack of spending is bizarre. mister slippery
Man, vdV hadn't even really occurred to me.Gotta figure Bale's gone in summer, and you can likely get 30-40 mill euro for him, but without clever spending, replacing him is gonna be brutal. Man, can't you lot just get in ahead of City? I'd be so happy with that.Btw, you see the Heavy Mtl update yet, Ollie? Dunno what to think, myself. We'll see what happens, I guess.
