The new album “Croweology†by The Black Crowes. The Black Crowes is an American hard rock band formed in 1984 under the original name “Mr Crowes Gardenâ€.

In celebration of the 20th year anniversary of their 1990 debut multi-platinum release Shake Your Money Maker The Black Crowes will release their first ever double album of all acoustic material on August 3, 2010. The double album, Croweology, will be sold at the cost of a single album as a ‘Thank You’ to their fans for 20 years of support. Also to be released on vinyl, the project was produced by Paul Stacey and will be released on The Black Crowes label, Silver Arrow, through Megaforce Records.

Yeah, I've been all over this album lately...and super stoked for the upcoming show.

I'm hoping to hear a Sister Luck live for the first time...so many gems though one can't really go wrong. Would like to hear some newish material off of Before the Frost too (particularly Magnolia and The Last Place that Love Lives...damn what a simple, beautiful song)..great album.

Knowing we're getting a full acoustic and full electric set makes me look forward all the more. Really wish I was catching more than one show this 'final'? run.

For some reason I had it in my head that this show was on the 13th...anticipation just got ramped a few notches knowing I have to wait a couple weeks after that even... Can't wait. I have every expectation that this will be a highlight for me in 2010.
