Which makes no sense since I am the one that gets our other rebates. It is my understanding it auto matically goes to the father and I cannot find any other reason for this then that he is the male. Velvet Posted December 14, 2010 Report Share Posted December 14, 2010 In my more niave days I would suggest the government had merely found the most efficient way of distributing the cheques and that's why the male memeber of the household were getting them.I currently have little faith in government efficiency, so yeah, maybe it's sexist, maybe it's random, or maybe it does indeed make sense somehow.
