Got blasted this email...blasted...heh heh.

Boys and Girls,

Here is another way to get fresh, local beer. The brewery is in the light

industrial area behind Valequette Sports off Carling Avenue. Kinda close

to the new Canadian Tire. Enjoy,

TommyB ; )

Friends,

I wanted to let you know that we are now selling Growlers of Kichesippi

Natural Blonde at the brewery. I have attached a video, photo and media

release for your information as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsTTP0CoymI

The Growler launch coincides with our campaign to raise money for Juvenile

Diabetes. Our son has had Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes since 2006 and we

will be donating 50 cents for every Growler sold until a cure is found.

Thank you in advance for any exposure you are able to provide us in this

endeavour.

I like the Natural Blonde, but I'm really sad to see the Heritage and Scotch Irish brands disappear :(

Yeah I was wondering about that. Did Kichesippi buy out Heritage completely and their beers are no more?

I dug the Heritage beers but was always disappointed that they did such a shit job of marketing them in local bars.

yeah.. what Heritage had in terms of brewing talent they lacked in terms of marketing talent

from what I've been able to determine, Heritage and their brands are gone, purchased outright by Kichesippi. After that purchase Kichesippi then bought Scotch Irish. What is weird though is that the original Scotch Irish owners didn't sell their brands (so I'm not sure what exactly they sold) and will continue to produce them, but for the Toronto market.

I got all that from these articles:

I picked up a couple of growlers (64 oz). They are $14.75 each, $4.00 of that being deposit and are filled right before your eyes. Tastes very fresh, which makes all the difference. I'll be back!

Thanks Ollie. We were talking about these at lunch today...wondering what the price was.
