CyberHippie
Anyone seen this movie? It's by Mike Gordon, and about the bass and government mule. A whole whack of amazing bass players get together to pay tribute to Allen Woody. Good Stuff!
elemeno
great movie! i think mike should have kept himself out of the video much of the time.
CyberHippie
hahaha, yeah, Mike definetly took his liberties. Everybody, I'm Mike from Phish, look at me... I wonder what the Mule family has to say...

AD
Larry Graham is the bomb in that video... But he's better elsewhere... He came out at the Prince show in Ottawa in 2002 and Tore Shit Up, as did Maceo Parker at the same gig.. Well worth the price of admission.... Prince puts on a hell of a show. CyberHippie
I thought that was a pretty interesting story behind the scar under Allen's eye. Apparently he was a young kid, Elvis came on the TV and he was madly dancing in his chair and fell off.

AD You can argue that ALL the guest bass players on the Risng Low DVD and subsequent Deep End CDs are better elsewhere. The commentary and playing in the documentary often proves this point. Hey Esau, I haven't forgotten that I have your buddy's Rising Low DVD. It's in good hands. I'll get it to you somehow.
