Common death among fish! Pet or Not? I think if the person feels close to it...sure let it be their pet...but I would have to agree with more of a decoration....eye candy! They got that weird fungas that grows over and suffacates them. Moved onto Budgies and neuts which the cats killed. Then got back on track with the best pet of all...a dog. I love my dog. I posted it, on a whim, because I thought it was so funny that a fish expert would suggest to pet owners that they buy a bunch of fish, some of whom are intended to eat the others. I am quite impressed, however, at the philosophical nature of the discussion that has ensued, and I am quite amused that this thread has actually turned into a "hot topic". By the way.
