PassedOutGuy Posted June 6, 2007 Report Share Posted June 6, 2007 Well, you guys all came through for me with my Grandfather's surgury a couple of months ago so I thought id ask again... Mellie and I leave Sitka, AK on the ferry tonight at 1:45 am... we have a 30 hr ferry ride and guess what greats us in BC... FLOODINIG... seems the towns of Terrace and Smithers all the way over to Prince George are being evacuated... these towns are directly on our route being such a mountanous area... keep your thoughts with us on Friday if you could folks... we cross the border sometime around 10 AM BC time and then who knows what... hopefully this wont add too many days to our journey... thanks all, I miss you guys dearly... PassedOutGuy Posted June 7, 2007 Author Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 Well its official...the weather God's hate us... we are now stuck in Sitka until Friday morning as Prince Rupert is closed... we now are travelling all the way to Bellingham Washington leaving on Friday and not getting in until Tuesday... sounds like a whole lotta fun to me... time to get DRUNK!
