As a small child I loved Hockey because of the Spectacle. As a young adult I loved Hockey because of the strategy and subtleties of the game. These days I love hockey because the people who play this great game are even better men.The selflessness and sense of perspective required to do what Laich did, is just another in a long list of reasons that Hockey Players are far and away my favorite public figures of any kind.
