bouche Posted March 27, 2004 Report Share Posted March 27, 2004 Soon, I'm going to be upgrading the sanctuary to provide shitloads more features. When I do perform the updates, there will be one casualty, the Avatars. Everyone's configured avatars will have to be setup again, and I know that I've set a bunch up for a few people over the years. What I need to ask everyone to do is the following, if you want to have the same avatar after the update. - right click on your avatar - select 'properties' - copy the address(URL) of your avatar and save it to a text file or, if you want, just reply to this thread and put it in here to save the location. example: http://www.jambands.ca/UBB/Avatars/custom/bouche.gif After the updates are complete, everyone will have to reconfigure their profiles with the saved address to get their avatar back. Or you can just start fresh with a new one. I may just do that myself. The tools of the site and buttons will most likely be in different places and there will be many more features that you should probably play around with to see what you'll be able to do. The customization of your account and the forums will be a huge leap forward from the way it's looking. Also, you'll have to update all of your links to the sanctuary when the time comes, although I will try and find a way to forward old links.
