Single tickets unite! I don't even have a ticket. I bought a ticket-less ticket which doesn't even make sense at face-value. I have to show up with my credit card.
I don't think there are legal issues at this time to go through a gateway. I couldn't find anything. Seems very 'grey'. I think it should be illegal to block content that Canadian netflix subscribers are equally paying for.
Check out unblock-us.com Free trial for 1 week ($4.99/mth thereafter). Setup is a breeze with a router. It'll open up Netflix with TONS of content from the US and UK. Also can watch clips from Hulu and other services blocked by border restrictions. I'm blown away by the stuff that isn't normally available on netflix.
Ollie sent me this link today...basically, be prepared to fcuk with these people. http://www.reddit.com/r/talesfromtechsupport/comments/w79zp/i_got_one_of_those_scam_calls_today/
how can we be sure that's even Groove Fetish now? Could be the same people. I don't even trust ollie right now. It'd be best to be hidden behind a router and turn on all windows firewall settings until you can get malwarebytes or something similar to give your pc a clean bill of health. if there's anything there, it should find it (with the latest version of course). as for missing icons, it's possible you aren't logged into your regular account. if that's the case, go to control panel > user accounts and see if your regular account is there and log into that one.
i haven't seen ANYTHING similar to demonoid. demonoid was great for apps, movies (multi-format), games, music, books, etc... is there actually something similar?
I setup iTunes Match so I didn't have to keep music stored on my iPhone anymore. I am impressed. $27.99/year and it matched about 3000 tracks from my library, so I didn't have to upload those. The remaining 2900+ tracks from live recording, personal recordings, and other things that iTunes doesn't have were uploaded. Now I've got about 6000 tracks that I can stream/download from any of my devices.
Just noticing that Rogers may be tacking on ridiculous upgrade fees that they didn't do from the 3G to iPhone 4. $143 upgrade fee $35 upgrade administration fee on top of that, the phone is priced at $429 instead of $379 (but they MAY offer a $50 credit). Something is really wonky.
