The one in the Star is soo tabloid. This guy would have something negative to say no matter what the Leafs did. He is this way when he is on the call-in shows on the FAN590 too. There are some fantastic comments posted at the end of his Op Ed piece that are worth a read. Did he really have to type "Finger (Who)?" FIVE times in that short article? Quality journalism Cox. Way to go. The Leafs are NOT trying to build a contender for the Cup next season. They are rebuilding and getting rid of shit. What would Cox have said if they somehow had landed Hossa and paid him $9million a season? He'd be bitching and whining that they should have gone after the more affordable UFA market during a rebuilding phase.

I truly don't think that Sundin is going to lift any team to the Cup next year. It will be interesting to see how he fits into the lineup somewhere else, but I just don't see him being the inspiration/leader that will get a team there (unlike Bourque). I'm guessing that Sundin will be in a Rangers sweater next season, if he plays at all. In the meantime, Detroit will once again be a monster, and who knows what Tampa will do, but they could be a force to be reckoned with.

What about holding a cheesburger, or a donut while you're driving? What about smoking a cigarette, or drinking coffee? These are all distractions that involve taking your hand(s) off the wheel. I'm sure that one could argue equally as much against those too. I see it every day. People on their cell phones (or keying messages on their CrackBerries) while driving and are oblivious to their surroundings and make ridiculous maneuvers on the road.

Yup, i didn't want to take the "risk" of a weekend show in the summer relatively close to the US border being a possible big draw and getting shut out. I bought my 2 tix at Rotate This (and saved around $10 per ticket avoiding the "convenience" of TicketBastard ). Not many other tix that I bought in advance this summer (Phil Lesh, Rush, Clapton, WSP). The other shows I'll be hitting will be free (Buffalo and Niagara) or purchasing tix at the door.

What's not working on it? Sometime's the simplest little part can make the difference. Recently I had to buy a plastic "screw" that held one of the spinning arms in place in the bottom of our washer. It was $5 and it worked like new again The people at repair/parts suppliers can be helpful (if they aren't trying to sell you new product). Good luck.
