  1. LOL ... thanks Low Roller. Guess I'll be cheering for Tampa Bay
  2. ^^^^^^^ it ain't just Massey Hall buddy. All events have chunks of killer promoters tix/band tix/etc held. Often those are released a couple of weeks, a couple of days, or a couple of hours before the show. This is NOTHING new. As for being a "Friend" ... membership has it's privileges. I ponied up and spent the 80 clams for it. It's paid off already. I've also been willing to help people out who don't have a membership get tickets as well .... and NOT CHARGE for it. There are ways "real fans" can work together to maximize the effectiveness of beating the "system"
  3. Fuck that Bob, they're gonna land Cujo again Would love to see him as a platooning backup to help teach some shit to Toskala, Pogge, etc. As long as they can move him back and forth between the Marlies and Leafs it could be useful. Then see if he's worthy of becoming a goalie coach or something. Back to havingginandtonicsbythepool ps - fuckoffmccabe

  8. This is a great release for anyone who may be on the fence. I'm still not sure about the sbd version of the ULTIMATE Hard To Handle from 8/6/71 on the bonus disc. It is missing that electricity from the audience. I'll post both versions here later tonight and you can compare. In the meantime, you can listen to a bunch of the cuts from this release here: http://www.dead.net/listeningparty/ Bertha (8/6/71 from Bonus Disc) Big Boss Man (7/31/71 from Bonus Disc) Truckin' (8/23/71 Disc Two) Cumberland Blues (8/6/71 from Bonus Disc) China Cat Sunflower 8/23/71 > I Know You Rider 8/23/71 Sugar Magnolia 8/23/71
  9. Happy Bday ... lookin' forward to the next local DBT show with ya again Cheers
  10. Haven't heard of any Kanye "fans" who were there (and thought his set smoked). I have read a bunch about the hordes of happy Pearl Jam fans though Bad fit for the festival. Keep it about live music, IMHO.
  11. I'd love to see that. Sweet. Looking for recordings already
  12. It's just Bell bullshit. P2P is NOT clogging their networks. As for the Teachers' Pension Fund buying Bell, well it'll be just like MLSE. Make shitloads of money, aggravate your customer base, and don't pass any savings on to your pension contributors
  13. I don't feel bad for Kanye in the slightest. So, he doesn't mind being called a racist?! But say that he didn't give 100% and he's ready to put a cap in your ass and type in all caps! HA. What a joke.
  14. McCabe ... might just become a stay-at-home defenceman ... REALLY staying at HOME http://tsn.ca/other_sports/story/?id=241720

  16. from superficial.com: Did he just call them squid brains? I had no idea Kanye West was a pirate. Anyway, for those of you wondering why he's yelling, no, he's not in a movie theather. Kanye's just really passionate about making sure people know what a dedicated performer he is. And how much he loves overusing punctuation. LOVES IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. This weekend, Saturday Night Live will rerun its very first broadcast from October 11th, 1975, which was hosted by George Carlin. It marks the debut of the Not Ready for Prime Time Players (Belushi, Akroyd, Chase et. al.), with musical guests Janis Ian and Billy Preston, and an appearance by Andy Kaufman.
