  1. Well, with Andy Dick it's almost surprising that he accosted a female rather than a dude! no?
  2. Yoda says "little brown ring he is."
  3. ARRRRRRRRRRRRGOOOOOOOOOOOS
  4. So, it's a damn beautiful day here. Luckily it's pretty slow in my department. Went out for some half-price wings and beers for lunch with some coworkers. Ended up polishing off about 3 pitchers of Heinekens and now have a kickass beerbuzz at work I'm going to bed early tonight
  5. I remember enjoying it. I wasn't expecting much really. I don't like my Beatles being done by "ohter" people much, but this really worked, IMHO. I can understand that there are people who wouldn't like this style though. Let's put it this way, if you saw Moulin Rouge and found it enjoyable at any level, you should find Across The Universe as an equal if not BETTER.
  6. Holy SHIT this must sound mind-blowing! Here are a couple of pics: Tons of pics and detailed information here: http://www.royaldevice.com/custom.htm#THE%20REAL%20TOTAL%20HORN
  7. I saw a LOT of those SEGs (shit eating grins) that day! Good times ... good times Phil's supposed to be doing another marathon run at the Nokia Theater in NYC this fall (something like 15 shows in 20 nights).

  9. Read all about it. It's a multi-use box since you use poo-bags http://www.thebrowncorporation.com/ pop fold shit stool Count on the Brits to come up with this shit: The idea came from Glastonbury in 1989… I was in my tent on a sweaty early Sunday morning and needing to go… at that stage the kharzees were mostly the “long drop†types and after 3 days of everyones excess’s this was the last place I wanted to visit in my rather fragile state. In the corner of the tent was a box of Kleenex tissues and I just thought that if the box was bigger and sturdy, I could rip out the oval bit in the middle and insert a carrier bag and hey presto I have a toilet that I can use in my own tent! No more throwing up/gagging whilst trying to hold your arse and clothes away from the long drop seat… hooray. Like all good ideas its taken me a while to get this one going as I got rather caught up with my day job, but nearly 20 years later, about 50 prototypes on, the simple idea that is Shit Box has arrived. I’m not saying the experience is the most luxurious but after having quite a few goes myself, I can honestly say it works! Have a good one… and twos Richard Wharton “The Big Shit†Founder The Brown Corporation
  10. Thanks for the tip! I record Colbert and Stewart nightly so I wouldn't miss it, but it sure is something to look forward to The two shows are different and have their own style. I like that. I do enjoy Stewart's interviews better, but the other schtick is won by Colbert these days, IMHO. Speaking of Tom Sawyer, it reminded me of the South Park skit that Rush put up on the big screens at their shows before playing it. Let me see if I can find it ..... Modern day warrior named Tom Sawyer floated down a river on a raft with a black guy ...
  11. Need this for your next concert/festival experience??? What a "crap" idea http://www.creativereview.co.uk/crblog/crap-idea/

  13. Sounds like it was a well received show. I am kinda surprised that it was a sellout actually. Guess a lot of Zep/Plant fans may not have known that it wasn't going to be a full on Plant gig http://www.thestar.com/entertainment/Music/article/460351
  14. d'oh ... sorry. Didn't look in the video forum.
  15. Looks like he's hitting up Buffalo in October. Maybe a some more dates will be added as well. From pollstar.com: Wed 10/29/08 Henry Rollins Town Ballroom, Buffalo, NY
  16. ugh ... won't be a sellout at those prices so a last-minute cheapie could be doable
  17. Sweet. I'll go if I can get a cheap ticket. I missed the last go around where they played London, ON I think. Anyone go to that? Was it any good?
