FINALLY! someone else sees the light! i'm so excited i could throw a bible and scream I AM FILLED WITH CHRIST'S LOVE!!! i love that movie. and i've taken a lot of flac for that too. and i just remembered patrick fugits dad in the movie who dates mary's mom....the dad is the DEA agent husband on weeds, and the mom is the mom on weeds! ooo! I think it's hard to convice people to watch a movie that stars Mandy Moore and Macauley Culkin. But seriously, everyone should watch it!

Apparently the Waterboys recorded enough material for four albums in between This Is The Sea and the final release of Fisherman's Blues. The bonus disc on the new remaster gathers another 60-odd minutes of those sessions that didn't make the cut - and they aren't rough demos or live versions or anything like that. And only two of the tracks are alternate versions of songs on the original album - both of which are drastically different enough from the versions on the original album to warrrant inclusion. There's another album out there somewhere called Too Close To Heaven: The Unreleased Fisherman's Blues Sessions which apparently completes the recordings. I guess this is their Basement Tapes.

That's an incredibly good movie.

I also thought it was funny that right after he said that, the host pointed out that they were on live television so the remark couldn't be edited or deleted. I didn't realize that "butt" could be such an offensive word...
