  4. Wow, carstairs. I thought you were allergic to posts. What a fucking great party that was. Honestly, Corey, how do expect any of us to remember more than the faintest of blurry details of that event?
  5. I live around the corner from there so I've been a few times. The jams are OK. They get better as I get drunker.
  6. A little respect goes a long way kids. I'm not in to watching snuff videos either, but I think it is important that this was shown. The police have to be held accountable for their behavior when they abuse their power, and it won't happen without a huge public outcry. If this video had not been made public they could have(and would have) just swept this under the table.
  7. All right I am clearly contributing nothing worth reading to any of these threads today. I'm calling an intervention on myself and stepping away from the the intertube. Have a good day all.
  8. How about "PPFFTT" and "pfffffft." I don't think those are words either.
  9. That's the way I read it. Just checking. I stand beside what I said, irregardless.

    Parade

When is the Santa Clause parade?
  11. Those cops should be charged with manslaughter at the very least. Watching that video on the news last night left me ashamed to be Canadian.

Hi all. I just received this email: "This Friday, November 16th, Parade will be playing at the Avant Garde Bar at 133 1/2 Besserer St. There will be 2 sets, starting at 9pm. Parade = Linsey Wellman - reeds/horns Mike Essoudry - drums/sampler/clarinet Olivier Fairfield - vibes/electronics Mark Molnar - cello/electronics/loops We hope to see you there." My belief is that this will be tres cool.
  13. Surprised I beat BradM to this one.
  14. I love Gloria Steinem, but not in a male hierarchy dominate and control kinda way. And yes, she is still very much alive. "America is an enormous frosted cupcake in the middle of millions of starving people. " GS http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/g/gloria_steinem.html
  15. This youtube video shows more sexualized violence and humiliation per second than Fox News -- all in the name of condemning it. After this video, smart viewers and advertisers will boycott Gloria Steinem.
  16. Flight of the Conchords, one of the funniest shows on tv, is on now on the movie network, episode one.
