  4. Thursday Oct 30. Wilco is on The Colbert Report tonight.
  5. that is definitely a good point. perhaps the wallaby has gone rogue. people should be on the lookout for little kids dressed as wallabys tomorrow. perhaps it is wendell trying to get some food.
  6. There’s gotta be a typo there, no way a wallaby can move that fast in an unfamiliar environment
  7. oh, so now you need to see things to comment on them.... consensus is that parros won but i don't really see it. little jabs here and there. a draw, sure. oh well. after that though i definitely wouldn't consider Neil a pussy.
  8. this will be a topic on Ottawa Morning, Thursday morning. Not sure when though. Sometime super early.
  9. so nobody has a useful opinion why holding someone with two hands isn't a holding penalty?
  10. without turning this into an anti-toronto / pro-ottawa whatever discussion, because that's not why i'm bringing it up, but i'm curious why mayers didn't get an instigator / unsportsmanlike / holding penalty on that play. he dropped his gloves and held neil's jersey with two hands. isn't that the definition of those three penalties? not a minute later neil gets a 10 minute misconduct for saying something disparaging to hollweg. just curious, in a non-partisan why, why you think mayers wasn't called.
  11. there were a lot of power outages up near chelsea and north of gatineau. that probably had something to do with it.
  12. well, there were no school closures in ottawa and all school buses are running according to cbc abd the school board website. there are schools in the upper cananda board that closed, but those are well south of ottawa.
  13. Oh you two with your silly questions. Makemake, formal designation (136472) Makemake, is the third-largest known dwarf planet in the Solar System and one of the two largest Kuiper belt objects (KBO) in the classical KBO population. Its diameter is roughly three-quarters that of Pluto. Makemake has no known satellites, which makes it unique among the largest KBOs. Its extremely low average temperature (about 30 K) means its surface is covered with methane, ethane and possibly nitrogen ices. Initially known as 2005 FY9 (and later given the minor planet number 136472), it was discovered on March 31, 2005 by a team led by Michael Brown, and announced on July 29, 2005. On June 11, 2008, the IAU included Makemake in its list of potential candidates to be given "plutoid" status, a term for dwarf planets beyond the orbit of Neptune that would place the object alongside Pluto and Eris. Makemake was formally classified as a plutoid in July 2008.
  14. nope. although the Sens did get kicked out of their practice today in florida because Obama is having a last minute rally instead.
  15. "We're going to dump that in the trash can and move on," Buffalo coach Lindy Ruff said.
