  1. Oh and highly recommended festival those who havn't been. scenery was beautiful. security wasn't tight at all.. very kid friendly evironment. price was a bit steap but for the quality of music worth every penny.
  2. Anyone ever seen these guys. my gf is bringing me to their show. Listened to a few tracks. They seem pritty tight. Anyone ever seen them. Here is the write up from the mercury loung about them. http://www.thenationalparcs.com/ THE NATIONAL PARCS LIVE THURSDAY JUNE 12TH The National Parcs were born in the backwoods of Quebec, Malawi and B.C., but bred on Montreal streets buzzing with the noise of every nation on earth. For this groundbreaking CD/DVD album, they strip back down to basics, returning to their roots in the bush. The great outdoors becomes their studio, and their songs come alive with all-natural samples of wood splitting, sand slipping, paddles slapping, water dripping. Their cameras and microphones are trained on the trackless woods around them, but their ears have been trained on Grime and Hip Hop, Afrobeat and Baile Funk, American Spirituals and Malian Blues. The resulting Timbervision tracks are an invitation for the world to dance, starting with the half-remembered hum of our own backyards and smuggling in the best that the world has to offer.
  3. just got back from mountain jam.. great times. rained saturday a bit but mostly during the day. first night of mule was off the hook. second day they had a delay due to thunder which backed up the sets a bit.. which made dso's late night a bit short.. still kick ass set. mofro rocked out too. levon was amazing. his voice sounded great. don't know how they fit that many people into their barn party. makes me want to go and check it out.. rockin. fuckin bobby, oh shit!!!

  18. Very happy today after listning to the new moe. album.. reviews are pritty good aswell Track Listings 1. Cathedral 2. Sticks and Stones 3. Darkness 4. Conviction Song 5. 202 6. Deep This Time 7. All Roads Lead to Home 8. September 9. Queen of Everything 10. Raise a Glass moe. http://www.rollingstone.com/reviews/album/17950620/review/17954230/sticks_and_stones Sticks And Stones RS: 3.5of 5 Stars Average User Rating: 4.5of 5 Stars 2008 View moe.'s page on Rhapsody The five guys in Moe usually make albums this way: Write tunes, literally jam them into shape on tour, then cut 'em. This time, the upstate New York band flipped the script, recording songs as they were composed in the studio. The result is a concise, punchy good time, emphasizing the songcraft inside Moe's improvising mettle and the double-guitar pow of Al Schnier and Chuck Garvey, even when they're not soloing. The second half of the album's title certainly applies to Schnier and Garvey's early-Seventies Mick Taylor-and-Keith Richards crossfire of high-treble slash and lightly distorted skids in the title song and the thumper "Queen of Everything." In "Darkness," the guitarists sound like a pair of Neil Youngs, trading crunchy flourishes behind bassist Rob Derhak's vocal. "Conviction Song" and "September" highlight Moe's autumnal-ballad gifts, particularly the deep-sigh grace of the band's harmonies. But if this was 1973, the FM pick-to-click here would be the Badfinger-like guitar chop and dirty-Eagles chorale of "All Roads Lead to Home" — which, for these songs, is now the stage.
