  4. for those of you not attending and was hoping iclips was going to air bonnarro. it looks like another station is going to take on that task. http://www.thetripwire.com/news/2009/02/03/bonnaroo-2009-artist-confirmations-announced/ http://www.fuse.tv/ "Bonnaroo 2009 Artist Confirmations Announced Here you have it, less than a week after Coachella’s line-up was finally released, this year’s Bonnaroo line-up has been announced. Mr. Super Bowl himself, Bruce Springsteen and his E Street band, alongside recently reunited jam-band-legends Phish, will be headlining the giant four-day music festival down in good ole Manchester, Tennessee on June 11-14. This year’s festival will celebrate Bonnaroo’s eighth consecutive year running, and will include over 120 bands; and what a solid — if not exhausting — selection of bands it is. TV on the Radio, Wilco, The Beastie Boys, Animal Collective, Bon Iver, Andrew Bird, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Crystal Castles and Grizzly Bear are among the swarm of artists we are excited to see take the stage at the massive music fest. Phish will be playing twice during the festival, which will certainly be a special treat for fans who have been waiting since 2004 for their reunion to happen. And for fans who can’t attend the monstrosity of a festival in the heart of Tennessee, they can watch it on FUSE, who will be exclusively airing live coverage of the event through both its television station and websites. Bonnaroo organizers are also switching some things up this year, as the expensive four-day tickets will be available on a payment plan for those who are suffering from joblessness, but still need to see their favorite musical acts at a four-day fiasco of sweat, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll. Tickets for Bonnaroo go on sale this Friday, February 7 at 12 noon EST. Below is the list of confirmed artists, which came with the promise of more to be announced in the coming weeks."

  12. yup shitty timing. i was suppose to see them in asheville, nc on friday. it was still a go when i started my trip but i guess they just canceled it. i will try to find out more info down here on the cancellation.
  13. yup but the second he ties the knot he lights up a smoke guaranteed!!!
  14. http://www.hollyscoop.com/mandy-moore/mandy-moore-and-ryan-adams-engaged_19278.aspx not that i care im sure a few people would get a chuckle out of this " Source Image by Splash News Mandy Moore and singer-songwriter Ryan Adams are engaged! We didn’t even know they were back together! But Moore's rep, Jillian Fowkes, confirmed the news to E! Mandy, 24, and Ryan, 34, dated last year and split up in July. It seemed to be an amicable break-up, with Ryan calling Mandy “one of those genuinely sweet angelic people you wish to meet your whole life.†Mandy was then linked to another one of her ex-boyfriends, DJ AM briefly. They were spotted on several occasions after his near-death plane crash. But now Mandy and Ryan are item again! The two were even seen as recently as yesterday grocery shopping in LA. Mandy was reportedly wearing a ring on her engagement finger as well. They definitely caught us by surprise with this one! Hopefully this time their relationship lasts"
  15. so if ticketmaster owns ticketnow, but is claiming that their are third party sellers selling these tickets. How much is ticketmaster pocketing from these vendors? have they ever said publicly?
  16. tickets purchased, i have so much going on this summer that i figured i get to see my phish shows and a ton of other stuff. My first bonnaroo, always didn't like the size and having to choose. But i said why not, for me one of the best lineups i have seen in bonnaroo history and i get to see phish and go down with one of my best buddy's. Should be a rager!!!
  17. tickets purchased. that was easy. i love a company that has their shit together.

    RC: phish

phish bonnaroo for me. baring i get tickets which i don't see as a problem. after the debate in the bonnaroo site if they would play two big sets or do a late night. phish confirmed it on their site. http://www.phish.com/news/ PHISH PLAYS BONNAROO 2009 02.03.09 PHISH PLAYS BONNAROO 2009 Phish will play two shows - a full two-set performance as well as an additional late-evening set - at the 2009 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival
  19. livenation is a small dog trying to play with the big dogs. my buddy tried to score tickets last night for cornmeal in nyc. Which is a small band that the demand is not their for like phish. My buddy kept trying for phish and kept getting errors. and gave up. so last night same thing would get right to the end then error. so he called and their resoning was that livenation dosn't have an address for their company set to their tickets so my buddy's credit card who has a security protocal kept denying cause their was no address associated with live nation. He calls back and they basically say you are out of luck unless you get a credit card with less security..which made no sence to me??
  20. agreed on the jerry and merl, awsome. that band last waltz is another favorite of mine aswell. the cover isn't mint condition but the records work great which is why i collect. i listen to albums more then cd's or online.
  21. it looks that way. considering all things. phish festivals where 60 thousand plus just for them. bonnaroo was bringing in 90 thousand on their own without phish. This year the lineup is incredible. so your going to get people coming to see bruce. fans for nin etc. and all those people who got denied for phish tickets as well as people that are just going to go because phish is their even if they have tickets for everything else. I could be wrong but i am not waiting. First day i am securing mine. they get more expensive as time goes on and i do think allotment of tickets will sell faster. i doubt it will sell out right away but allotments will go fast and ticket prices will go up. as well as them having a payment plan option that you can pay 50 bucks a month until the fest. so people won't have to dole it all out in one shot will tempt people more as well too.
