I'm debating on going to this. I've seen Jeff Tweedy twice solo and now that the latest incarnation of Wilco do not go back to the old material as much as I would like, Tweedy solo fills the void. Also I would love to see Pete Seeger again. Seeing Seeger for the first time this year at Hugh's Room was one of the highlights of my year and my life. Peace, Tim

I'm excited to see this gig even if it is without Christine McVie. I saw Fleetwood Mac in 1994 without Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks & Christine. And I got to see Buckingham & Nicks both do their own gigs in 2006. So I'm excited to finally see four/fifths of their classic mid-seventies line-up at the ACC in 2009. Peace, Tim

Hey, Firstly I would like to wish everybody a happy holiday season. Secondly, I'm happy my favorite touring band of the last 20 years, Phish, have decided to play bonnaroo, the festival that was in part inspired by their own festivals. I have been to last five Phish weekend festivals and I have been to all but one bonnaroo (I missed 2006 due to the passing of my mom). That Phish and bonnaroo are finally coming together to me is a match made in heaven. Since I already bought the bonnaroo Holiday pre-sale tickets on the day they went on sale it looks like I may now relax as everything announced after Phish is now gravy. Including on of my all-time favorite artists Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, who I believe will blow the bonnaroo crowd away. Peace and Love, Tim

I've been listening to Everest quiet a bit lately and I really do enjoy them. 'Ghost Notes' is a good effort and the closing track "the Future" is one of my favorite songs of the year. Peace, Tim

If Dylan plays "Mississippi" either in Sudbury or Ottawa I will freak out as I am not able to go to either of those gigs. Though with my luck in not getting that song I like your odds in getting it. In the 29 Dylan shows I have seen since 'Love & Theft' has been released I have not gotten "Mississippi" once, though I have gotten every other song off the album. And I have missed "Mississippi" by one show on several occasions.

Back to back nights Bob Dylan has Paul James on guitar replacing Denny Freeman and Stu Kimball for the first five songs of the concert. It was less appealing the second time through, I suppose there was a little bit of uncertainty the first night not knowing whether or not Denny and Stu were going to come out or not in London that was not there in Oshawa. That said it was nice to see James play four different songs from the previous night, with the only repeat being "The Levee's Gonna Break." It was great to see Dylan & His Band open the concert with "The Wicked Messenger" as the last time I have seen it live was in Buffalo at Shea's on April 13, 2005. It was only the second time I have ever heard "Man in the Long Black Coat" which interestingly was also on the same day I last saw "The Wicked Messenger." Another song I had not gotten in a while was "'Til I Fell in Love with You" which lo and behold I last heard in Buffalo on February 23, 1999, Bob looked great up front remaking this 'Time Out of Mind' song into a out and out blues number. I absolutely love how Dylan is performing "Desolation Row" this year and tonights performance of the song was very much one of the highlights as it was at SPAC earlier in the year. Other highlights of the night for me was the Paul James slide on "High Water (for Charlie Patton)" as well as 'Blood on the Tracks' songs "Tangled Up in Blue" and "Simple Twist of Fate." It was also nice to hear "Nettie Moore" nearing the end of the show after seeing "Ain't Talkin'" near the end for my three straight previous shows. Finally it is a coincidence, yet to hear Bob end with "All Along the Watchtower" on back to back nights is all the more powerful in retrospect when Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell was found dead on Wednesday morning in a Portland hotel room at 61. Rest in peace Mitch. Here's hoping that Dylan does not decide to do "Mississippi" in Sudbury as I have to miss the gig. Though it would be nice if Bob pulled it out in Kingston on Saturday.

Last night in London, Ontario was the fourth time I have seen Bob Dylan invite Paul James to play guitar in his band. I must say that each and everyone of the times that James has guested with Dylan have ended up as some of my favorite Dylan concerts, last night included. Of all the times James has guested with Dylan though this was the strangest time. This was mainly due to the fact that James came out with out Denny Freeman and Stu Kimball to be seen and stayed out there as the only guitarist for the first fiv songs. Raising the question in many Dylan fans minds whether or not Freeman and Kimball were going to come out at all at the John Labatt Centre. At the Concert Hall (Masonic Temple) in Toronto on April 28, 1996 Paul James came out for "Rainy Day Woman #12 & 35" to close the concert. In Buffalo at the Marine Midland Arean (now HSBC) on Feburary 23, 1999 James guested on four of the last five songs of the night "Highway 61 Revisited," "Like a Rolling Stone," "Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat" and "Not Fade Away." And at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on November 8, 2001 James came out in the encore for "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Like a Rolling Stone." Paul James shot life into Dylan and his Band for the first five songs and after his departure the show never recovered that edge and intensity that he brought to the stage. Yes there were sloppy moments especially on the 'Modern Times' material as well as Tony Garnier telling James the chord changes to end "Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again." Yet I do not remember many times seeing Dylan visibly and audibly laughing into the microphone as witnessed during 'The Levee's Gonna Break" and James got huge reactions for his playing from the crowd up front last night. It was also nice to see Bob come out in front of George Receli's drum kit with the harp mic for soloing on a handful of songs and pick up a Gibson ES 175 Sunburst for "I'll Be Your Baby Tonight." I hope to see Paul James at GM Place in Oshawa tonight or Kingston on Saturday, if not I hope I at least get "Mississippi" I've only been waiting 7 years and 28 Dylan concerts since 'Love & Theft' came out to get that song live.

Interesting news, I hope it shoots some new life into Gov't Mule I have not been blown away by some of the recents shows I have seen of theirs. Peace, Tim

Tonight I saw Bob Dylan close his set with "All Along the Watchtower" and then I came home to find out that Leroi Moore has passed away. It is not like Dylan doesn't close with "Watchtower" most nights, that said it seems fitting in retrospect that he did so tonight. Rest in peace Leroi, you will be missed. Peace and Love, Tim

I've been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 4 times and I enjoy trying to get there every 2 or 3 years. Though I have always made sure that my visit to Cleveland included a concert that I was attending in the area, if not some might not think the trip just for the hall of fame is worth it. Peace, Tim
