Don't get me wrong I enjoy Widspread Panic, I was being objective with my above statement. The Allman Brothers Band have a far more significant following in the North East, more specifically Upstate New York than WP. The Allman Brothers Band are playing between Rochester and Buffalo, New York for this gig not Orilla, Ontario. Over the last decade plus the Allman have gotten decent crowds headling nearly every year at Darien Lake Performing Arts Centre which is a larger amphitheatre than Constellation Performing Arts Center and last year they headlined CPAC over Ratdog. In the end the headliner should be the act that keeps the crowd to the end and in the end the Allman Brothers Band is that band over Widspread Panic in Upstate New York. I look forward to seeing both of these bands on August 22nd, I just do not want to see the crowd one third empty by the time that WP is finished if they indeed were the headliner. Peace, Tim

I completely agree about the catalogue, I have now seen Neil Young perform 201 different songs (5 new from Kingston) in 47 concerts. The only artist/group I have seen perform more in around the same amount of shows is Phish. And though I have seen Bob Dylan do a lot of different songs in 40 concerts he is nowhere near the 200 mark. Peace, Tim

Good show, heard a lot off the new album that I had yet to hear live from last fall. Plus "Lost in Space" was the highlight of the night for me as I finally got a song from Neil's underrated 'Hawks & Doves' album and it was great to see it performed with Ben Keith and Anthony Crawford on duo acoustic Taylor twelve strings. It was also great to hear "When You Dance I Can Really Love You" and "Pocahontas" again which I had both not heard since 1996 and 1999 respectively and it's always a treat to see the peace dove keyboards drop for "Like a Hurricane" albeit a short but sweet version. Yet seeing the previous setlists from out east I really wish I made a trip to Newfoundland or Halifax to see songs like "Speakin' Out," "Barstool Blues" and especially "Change Your Mind" which Neil has not done live since the 'Sleeps with Angels' tour in 1994. And since Neil dedicated "Old Man" to a lot of his family that were in Kingston that night it seemed that he could not wait to get off stage to hang out with them as the K-Rock set was a couple shorter than the previous gigs. The Kingston fans were a great crowd that were far more appreciative than the two larger cities fans of Toronto and Ottawa between Kingston on the 401 Hwy. On a side note it was nice again to see Neil cover Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" in Kingston, the first gig I ever attended in Kingston was Dylan last fall where he closed his set with "Watchtower." Peace, Tim From www.billboard.com Crosby, Stills And Nash Dust Off Demos March 30, 2009 02:58 PM ET Gary Graff, Detroit Early recordings of a dozen Crosby, Stills & Nash tracks -- including favorites such as "Marrakesh Express," "Almost Cut My Hair," "Deja Vu," "Love the One You're With" and "Chicago" -- will be featured on "Crosby, Stills & Nash Demos," coming out June 2 on Rhino to coincide with the trio's June 18 induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and summer tour dates. "It's fascinating stuff," Graham Nash, who co-produced the set with Joel Bernstein, tells Billboard.com. "On some of these songs you really hear us becoming a band, trying out different ideas in our songwriting and singing and harmonies. It really is a time capsule." The "Demos" version of "Long Time Gone," for instance, features just Crosby and Stills during June of 1968, a few weeks before Nash joined the group. "Marrakesh Express," meanwhile, was recorded four months before CSN's first album came out in 1969. The set also includes: a Crosby solo demo of "Almost Cut My Hair;" a Stills solo take of "My Love is a Gentle Thing" form 1969; Neil Young joining Crosby and Nash on "Music is Love" for Crosby's 1971 solo debut album "If I Could Only Remember My Name;" and demos of three tracks for Nash's 1971 solo debut "Songs For Beginners" -- "Sleep Song," "Be Yourself" and "Chicago."
