  1. My last bands album was up on torrent sites before we even released it. I have no idea how that happened. and I mean we were just a local ottawa band. I just always thought it must have been one of the band members.
  2. I'm serious, she barely lets me put a leash and collar on her. her favorite game is bringing me stuff she kills in the woods.
  3. My dog is too much of a hick to let me put any clothes on her.

  7. ya, I try not to buy into these kind of things... but thats a damn sexy phone. if onlt it was actualy made out of bookmatched flamed maple.
  8. noone else find it ironic they use jesus quotes on something used to help kill people?
  9. hocus pocus was a really cool book, I'd tell you about it but you shoudl read it. its written as if it was all found on bits of paper, written by a guy in jail. its his life story about how he ended up there. I watched generation kill as well, and the book is very similar with a couple settings and stories being somewhat different. I have cats cradle sitting on my desk as my next book to read. people tend to give me gift cards for chapters at xmas, because they know I like to read. so I always end up with hundreds of dollars worth after xmas. I have a backlog of about 15 books waiting to be read right now. I don't watch tv.. so I generaly read or play vids for my entertainment.
  10. Well over th elast month I have read 6 books. My favorite so far would have to be kurt vonneguts slaughterhouse 5. I am kind of on a kurt kick right now. I also read Chuck palahniuks non fiction travel book about portland oregon... very good as well. I tried reading the naked lunch and could not get through it. I read another book by vonnegut called hocus pocus which was very very good. and a book by upton sinclair called the profits of religion. oooh I forgot, I read generation kill. right now I am reading galapogos by kurt vonnegut.

    Windows 7

I have yet to have any issues with windows 7... well when I bought it my 7 year old router was not compatible.
  13. haha... the funny thing is I have both a jazz bass and a stingray, as well as my lakland. I have played all of the lakland basses. couldn't really get into the dj... I liked the JO5 better. When I played guitar, I had a 52 reissue tele... best guitar I have ever played, and a very simple guitar also. so my point was that on guitar I seem to prefer simple guitar, through single channel tube amps, no effects, with bass I seem to prefer bells and whistles and lots of effects... weird eh? last bass I'll ever own... haha. I have bought 4 basses, this year and sold 3 as well.
  14. there are an equal amount of people, especially in the bass work that want more tone options, more pickup options and so on. My lakland has a 3 band active preamp in it, and a coil splitting switch for the rear humbucker, which is actualy 2 humbucks put together. every setting sound slightly different, to me. I am sure the audience can not here a thing. but I am constantly in search of the sound... that part of the musical journey for me. PS: the lakland in my avatar is no longer with me, I sold my 55-01, and got a 44-02...
  15. That is an absolutley bueatiful guitar... astounding. and the electronics are cool. I personaly really like all the options. once you find your sound you leave it.
  16. you shouls all read a book called. appetite for self destruction. its a book about the recording companies and how they opperate.
  17. I agree in a way.... nothing is free though. but I do not think that schools should be run for profit, they should be run for higher learning.
  18. I have not had alot of problems with my osap, but one that does stick out is this repayment debacle thing. I was in co-op program and working for 8 months, and all of a sudden they wanted me to start paying them back...!! I talked to them and said I am technicaly still in school, and that I should not have to start repaying them until 6 months after I get out. they looked at there records and said that I had negelected to tell them that I was still in school and that according to them I had been out of school fro 6 months. turns out, I was supposed to inform them I was still in school, even though I had not had to do that the other 4 years I was in school for, and this was all on my osap papers. arghhhhh.
  19. I saw him headline scotia bank place or whatever it is called. just a few rows back from the front, because he is one of my wifes favorites. I went in thinking it would suck and left a bit of a fan. he was awesome. ripped it up on guitar and I even gained appreciation for some of his "pop" songs. BTW, he is way way way more popular than spearhead. the only thing I couldn;t get over was the shear amount of teenage girls that were at his show.
  20. right by midnight is kris ward from my old band, that recently broke up. good to hear he had a good set!
