It's cool that Duran Duran Duran's opening, too. That's the one band of Chris's that I never did see, and I think they are technically broken up. (Although, most if not all of them are in Jackfruit, now.)

Someone just emailed me to tell me String Cheese Incident is breaking up. I haven't looked online to confirm this, but it's being discussed in a thread in some SCI board somewhere right now. So, I guess this is some seriously tragic news to some people; and a welcome relief for some others. (The latter does not include me BTW. I like them, and I enjoy them live, but I've never been a "Cheese Head".) Aw well. Too bad (assuming it's true.)

I've seen Spearhead quite a lot, as well as Michael by himself. You can let the "how you feelin"s get to you and annoy you, or you can look at it as his own little trademark, and it might just make you smile when you hear it. I agree wholeheartedly with afro poppa. I love his music, I love his attitude, and I'd see him any time (except this week, as I just can't make it). I find it very strange how heated discussions about him get. I would think that people who don't like him / his music / his "how you feelin"s would just ignore him.

Alright, got my tickets. Officially in.

For some annoying reason, PayPal can't verify my billing information, even though I've tried re-entering it in a dozen different ways, using "Toronto" then "North York" then my postal code with a space, then without... I can see myself missing these shows due to technological problems! I'm going to try again tomorrow, hoping it's a computer down somewhere. If not, maybe I'll call Mavericks, unless someone else has a brighter idea.
