  1. I agree. if he was busted then his real birthday (Trey was born in 1964) would appear? Also I can find no other confirmation of this on the net. If he had been busted there would have been a news story somewhere about it... this is fishy...So far I've seen no credible sources... Either way, yes Trey is a Mess. Wikkipedia says this: Ernest Guiseppe "Trey" Anastasio III, born September 30, 1964, is an American guitarist, composer, vocalist and a free base afficianado most noted for his work with the rock band Phish. He is credited by name as composer of 152 Phish originals, 140 of them as a solo credit, in addition to 41 credits attributed to the band in the generic [1]. He was rated as number 73 on Rolling Stone's List of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time in 2003. HOAX?
  2. Trey is obviously going down hill. SO sad....I guess that think about smokin' freebase may not be fiction. and yes...Why would you drive anywhere if you were fucked up. Dude you got tonnes of dough take a limo...
  3. WOW they got Derek Bailey coming! Wow that is impressive he's and icon in the world of free improv!
  4. too bad this guy was an icon! He gave Ray Charles and Led Zeppelin their start among others. He also wrote the Ray Charles classic "Mess Around".
  5. I am thrilled that Bargnani kicked ass the other night. Way to go Raps... P.S. I start topic swhen the Raps are flagging 'cause I am highly skeptical of thier newest "rebuild". I do however want them to do well and will give credit where credit is due. And the other night vs. the Magic they looked good. No Free rides......
  6. I think saying Bush & Harper have minds is a little zealous. That's giving them waaaaaay to much credit.
  7. I concur with earlier comments that if this proposal actually had any teeth to it it would be the first thing Stephen Harper had done I could support/respect. But typically it doesn't as he is a snake oil salesmen, through and through.
  8. I hear ya. I thought with Garbjosa and Bargnani we would have some scoring... This is exactly why I disliked the trading of Villeneuva. If we had him now we'd have a real inside threat.....
  9. Of course you're right but I always worry when we hang the entire team on one man. Not good.
  10. I like the rare funk track "Lightning Rod" by Sport I have that at home among my rare funk collection and I love it! Good selection......
  11. NEW YORK (Reuters) - Emmy-winning actor Peter Boyle, who played the dancing monster in the movie "Young Frankenstein" and grouchy father Frank Barone in the TV series "Everybody Loves Raymond," has died, his publicist said on Wednesday. The 71-year-old former Christian Brothers monk died on Tuesday after a long battle with multiple myeloma and heart disease, his publicists said. Boyle, who often played cantankerous characters, shot to fame as a foul-mouthed, working-class bigot in the 1970 film "Joe." He also played one of Robert DeNiro's fellow taxi drivers in Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Driver" in 1976, the cruel, racist father to Billy Bob Thornton in 2001's "Monster's Ball," and took a comic turn as the Frankenstein monster in the 1974 Mel Brooks spoof "Young Frankenstein." In recent years he played numerous roles on television, including the father to Ray Romano's character. He acted in 201 episodes of the situation comedy from 1996 to 2005 and received numerous Emmy nominations. He won an Emmy for outstanding guest actor appearance on "The X-Files" in 1996. Beatle John Lennon was the best man at Boyle's 1977 wedding to journalist Loraine Alterman, then a Rolling Stone reporter. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Amy and Lucy Boyle. Despite playing some unsavory characters, he refused roles that glamorized violence, including the lead role of Popeye Doyle that went to Gene Hackman in 1971's "The French Connection," according to the IMDb entertainment Web site. Boyle suffered a stroke in 1990 and recovered, then had a heart attack on the set of "Everybody Loves Raymond" in March 1999. He returned to the show soon after heart surgery. © Reuters 2006. 12. Seriously!?! Well that certainly does put things in perspective NRPS are way done, in the big picture.
  13. The Raptors were doing so good. They were close to the top of the division, they had a chance at taking it too... Now Chris Bosh is out, everyone forgot how to play "D", and TJ Ford is going 10000mph and overrunning the basket and hoisting up a slew of ill-advised threes. The result is a 4 game loosing skid! Sam Mitchell said this about TJ ford (as quoted in the T.O. Star): "If you practice as hard as you play you will be an all-star." Ouch! If we can't win without Bosh then we are in deep trouble for sure. In other news: Charlie Villenueva is averaging 15 ppg and 7rebounds per game. Let's hope this turns around soon..
  14. Stop hatin' I got a spell checker for firefox. Now if I can only use it correctly... Hmmm.. sorry guys my main skillsets involve music history, music theory and recreational chemistry...
  15. My parent's live in Guelph and every time I go there I realize it is a hotbead of smokin' hippie chick hottness. Note to self: Book more and more gigs in Guelph when single....
  16. Shows how much I actually follow baseball anymore. Mostly due to the fact it has disolved into a game where millionaires (players) fight with billionaires (owners) over more money. The fans always lose.
  17. Layton only said he would "prefer" a PM with single citizenship. That's pretty laissie fair to me. What is the big deal. It's not like he's crusading for this.
  18. I don't care how well you catch a ball, no one is worth 125 mil. Insane! SO who is gonna get baseball's first 200 million contract!?! When will it end!??!!
  19. If Harper gets his way we will have this hear too. Our prison population will double overnight and we'll be well on our way to the American Prison-Industrial complex. Yippeeee! P.S. I love that they quote Glen Fry's "Smuggler's Blues" in this article.
  20. I think the Grateful Dead already approved this... The Grateful Dead's Offcial policy on MP3s from GDLIVE.com I thought this same issue was already dealt with when Live Archive went through this?
  21. Phil is going straight to Heaven..... In fact he already has a suit in storage from the 70s...
  22. Now this I can get behind! Jerry has saved my soul, sometimes multiple times in one trip....
  23. I think Cage's beef has nothing to do with old guard or new guard. I think it's about having the chops and musical merit to play such a venue on such a scale. Just my take though...
  24. exactly! Wrong! Buddy Cage is a top flight session player and a first call pedal steel master for the likes of Bob Dylan and many others... He has toured with countless country & rock legends too. Buddy Cage session credits More Buddy Cage credits Just because you don't know of him doesn't negate his influence or talent as a player. For goddsakes he even recorded with jazz legend Lenny Breau. People this guy is no lightweight.
  25. I agree with Buddy Cage 100%. Having seen numerous Grateful Dead shows, Ratdog shows (in every stage of their development), I can say that Ratdog is at a stage where they are really working together in great chemistry and Weir is master of groove. String Cheese always looked the part but never had the chops to back it up..... Their imporvisations never dug in or had direction...seemed like hippie background music to me.... (My humble opinion.) P.S. I also find it interesting a great number of people that I know that dislike the Cheese (musically) are also almost exclusively musicians.
