With people allowed to vote "up to 30 times per platform" it's not very democratic! The good thing for the league is it gets fans involved to some degree. I guess I don't want to be that involved. I could have modified the article to say that Ottawa's architecture is the best in the world, and until the article was corrected, the 3rd-party opinion would not be very supportive. My proposal about the quadrupling of height was a joke. A rather hilarious joke too.

This European dude's letter (without the reference to the Wikipedia article) is featured in today's Ottawa Citizen newspaper. The developers should quadruple the proposed height of the buildings, just to spite him!

The letter will have absolutely no effect. Generally, the dude is right. This city's architecture, for the most part, sucks. Height and zoning restrictions are merely suggestions to be ignored. Referring readers to a wikipedia article to back up his point of view is the writer's only mistake.

I highly doubt the people lined up overnight at Walmart to spend money they don't have on crap they don't need are the the same people who would even think of attending a Prince concert.

I'm with the Chameleon on this. It's the economy. With gas, heating, electricity, and pretty much everything up in price, the entertainment budget is taking a hit for a lot of people.
