I don't know if it helps... but getting lots of exercise and tiring your body out so you are really sleepy, and can't wake up during the dream.. Then in your dream you can see it through to the end instead of waking up at the intense part, and maybe having your body try to do it to you again the next night. That's my 2 cents.
