the lady (new host) said that the tickets all went immediately. they turned some people away too. however, i think they had a bit less seating in there last night.
it was fun. not too memorable except for some great additions from bob on piano, vocals, synth and whistling some funny banter, although too much banter for this show, since the 2 artists didn't seem to have huge chemistry.
so did anybody hear back about tickets? velvet secured us tix elsewhere, but just curious because i never got a reply to my request. anybody else making it out?
you know how long they have been saying that for! the house has been 'redone' (ie. made habitable) and has new tenants. kampai, salud, ganbei for guigs!
coooool...a lovely spot don't remember the name of where i stayed there but there are cheap and nice rooms if you'd rather not camp.
there is a national park that you can hike some trails in, it's pretty (rainforest and views of the coast). TONS of monkeys everywhere and you'll also see lizards, agoutis, raccoons. sloths if you're lucky. there is a town over the hill (quepos) which wasn't much but had internet and some restaurants and whatnot. that's about all i got.
i think meggo lived there for awhile...?
neat funny when i was young i thought i wanted to be an archaeologist...my parents told me that the field was going to die out because there was nothing left to discover, lol...they wanted me to become a surgeon. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2008/01/080116-lost-city.html
