Interesting discussion between the blogger and Mangan, for sure. I sit on a committee that funds grassroots sport orgs/innitiatives and I have to apply for many grants throughout the year myself, so I can totally see where both sides are coming from. I have learned, though, that the funding org usually will fund up to something like 50% of the total project cost, which is probably why Metric and the Trews get the money they get - they have more to contribute. Its likely not as much a conspiracy as the one guy seems to suggest.

So what's the deal with security there, haven't been to the Amp in ages...if you have 400's is it easy to get to the lawn? More importantly, is it not impossible to sneak in some booze?

We won the league last night! If I could figure out how to post pics from my phone I would, but I'm also hurting pretty bad at work this morning. Celebrations went a tad late. It was a faking riot playing with Dennis all year though. He yelled at everyone all the time, but in a fun way, if that makes sense. It's sort of how I picture Booche leading a team. Good times. I suggest you all find your own retired enforcer to help motivate you through shit, it works!

I think you guys are going about it all wrong. You got to up the ante on the lawn chair folk. Get this: Inflatable beds. They won't know what to do. They're sitting there in their law chairs and you could be like, "hey, do you mind, I'm trying to watch the show. How about you bring a bed like I did and we can all enjoy the evening?"
