Just did two shots of deeeeeeelicious tequila rose (haha) and am about to exchange secret santa gifts and have a steak BBQ with my fellow coworkers. Same thing that I did last year this time. Weird how this hasn't changed. You'd think by reading through this thread it would have.

Hear hear! This isn't an about-face, Harper lied to us situation. He isn't ever going to get senate reform through a senate stacked full of Liberals. It's either make appointments with individuals who would support reform, or do nothing, and wait for the Liberals or whoever comes next to stack it even more.
