  1. Orgy at patty bolands with marc charron maybe? hehehe Thanks for that brad, charron is great.
  2. I'm currently uploading at about 1300k so you might be able to finish before I go home tonight. Otherwise don't despair, I'll do it again tomorrow I think but you should be real close to finishing by then.
  3. Iraq war cost counter Check it out and then click on the links below to see what else that money could have been used for.
  4. oh you, making fun of my last name eh
  5. alright, one computer going at around 400k/s, two more in about 20 minutes so I should be uploading at 1.2mbits/sec in less than an hour. That means you can get the show in a few short hours most likely. Tell your friends.
  6. I had to turn on the contacts only option in hotmail because I was getting way too much spam. I then switched to gmail but now it's getting a bunch. Now I've made a new gmail that I use for everything public and it can soak up as much spam as it wants. One good tip is that you can avoid the people that just make up email addresses based on words and names by putting tricky things in your email address (matt_marion instead of mattmarion) so that it's tougher to randomly generate it. I hate spam
  7. Hey all, I'm going to start this torrent up at work on at least one computer tonight, maybe a few more and I have an incredibly powerful connection at work so I can easily see speeds of 100k (or way, way more, I can download here at 3.9 MB/second) so jump on, it might just be possible to grab the whole thing during my shift if I can get it on fast enough. It's a good show. I start work at 5pm today and should have it running by 6pm, hopefully on several computers (2 computers = double the upload, 3 computers = triple, so I could maybe even get up to 1Mb upload) Later Edit: I'll be doing the same thing tomorrow and the next day if I don't get in trouble today
  8. Just out of curiosity, how does one score things like this (i.e. backstage passes and whatnot)? I've wondered that for a long time. I know with smaller bands it's not so difficult if you just meet the band but I mean at the bigger venues. I know you can get VIP tickets for shows which give some pretty good stuff but I haven't heard of a way to get (without winning since I don't do that very often) the chance to actually go backstage or party with the band. I'm probably just stupid or not in the loop but it has piqued my curiosity. Back on topic: Good fucking job. GnR were my heroes while growing up (well, slash was anyway) and it would have been wicked to meet Sebastian Bach and the TPB's.
  9. hahaha, bouche that's what I was about to say. Get a real browser (firefox) and then just install a spellchecker.
  10. Is there a reason you can't register for traders den? It may not actually show up anywhere anytime soon.
  11. Starting my seed in about ten minutes and hopefully we can get a few more running, make things a little faster. If anyone in Ottawa wants a copy, let me know how to get it to you.
  12. It's funny how the article expresses surprise that the folks are happy and yet the economy isn't the best. I guess it's true most of the time but it's nice to see somewhere where money isn't the be-all and end-all.
  13. Woooooo hoooooo, less than 12 hours and we're on the road. We should be in TO by 3-4pm so if anyone is having a pre-mule party...
  14. Not sure about quality but WATCH OUT for Sony/BMG CD's. Here's a fun little page that shows some factual info about this: http://www.fedge.net/emi/
  15. We'll be seeing Jakis in TO this weekend for the Mule show and grabbing dvd copies so that we can seed. In other words, if you're in Ottawa and nice then there's no need for B&P but if you want a copy, it'd be nice if you could help seed for a bit to lower the bandwidth usage of jakis and everyone else seeding...
  16. Might as well throw in a gratuitous plug so: What's your band? Got a website or myspace? Edit: Should have checked your profile before posting, crowdedskies.ca, got it.

Thanks but we decided just to hit Tuckers in the market. It's easy and there's lots to eat.

    buffet

Anyone in Ottawa, awake and feel like telling me what a good spot for an all you can eat buffet (better if it's in the next 20 minutes of so)
  19. Yesterday at Rick's fund raiser? Good job, we didn't win anything
  20. Thanks dude, I also managed to get my hands on two of the albums, mule-in it up tonight!!!
  21. Anyone know where I can download some live mule (links like in archive.org rather than torrents)? I have none on my laptop here at work and want some but am way to lazy to wait until I get home (not to mention I have an incredibly fast connection here, 5MB/second and that's bytes not bits)
  22. I don't think there's room but I'll find out tonight. There are six of us going and we're renting a van or large SUV but I don't think there's any spots left. I'll let you know by tomorrow though so as not to leave you hanging. Ask around a bit as I think there are several others heading down from O-town
  23. bring it on, friday is going to kick ass, woooo hoooo
  24. not sure about an art gallery but that's one hell of a collection.
  25. my dog chases squirrels and shit all over the place. I bet if he was hungry enough he'd catch one and eat it. Actually, he did catch one one day, picked it up and then put it down and gave it a nudge. At first it wouldn't move but after a few nudges it ran and he continued the chase. Oh, and he didn't hurt the thing in the least when he picked it up, very gentle, just the tips of the teeth and in the scruff of the neck. It was damn cute (although the squirrel was probably shitting bricks since it stopped in what I assume to be a form of paralysis brought on by fear). The moral of the story is that he could have eaten it if he had to.
