  1. The peltor Jr.s are the way to go. My boy has been going to shows with us his whole life with those things. They are expandable too so they are good for a long time. In fact, I often wear them when my wife is yelling at me We also tried the putty ones, they didn't work as well. We used to try them for getting to sleep in the tent at festivals and they would come out and get tangled in his hair. It's basically playdough. I'm pretty sure we ordered ours online from peltor, I've also seen them in children's stores. Amazon also has them: Link

I would say so for sure!

never seen them but I used to listen to their recordings on the archive. Pretty good.
  4. Isn't Arcade Fire a very charitable band? If they were just greedy people I'd probably have a problem but I don't see Arcade Fire as a greedy bunch of people. VIP's for $350 while might be steep for most people probably isn't much for some folks. People pay that much to see a Leafs game all the time. And it's just for a relatively small section I assume. The dress up part, I've been to shows where a lot of hipsters attended, they all dress the same anyway, with their tight coloured jeans and Rayban glasses, so it's probably not much of a stretch. Sounds like they're just trying to have some fun. If people were denied entry because they wore tie dye or something, then that would be an issue requiring an all out ban of Arcade Fire. Until that happens.... relax.
  5. I'm officially a Toadhead (unless somebody come up with a better term or a Toadhouse fan)
  6. sweet, especially the 2nd set looks killer. Wish I was there.
  7. hey, if anybody wants to make the trip North for this we have space to crash
  8. yeah I'm friends with the Schnurr's. Mark is a really really good mandolin player. (besides the fact that he makes his own mando's) I found one of his violins for sale on the internet one time, the person was asking $10,500 for it, wowzers. If you look up "Mark Schnurr - violin maker" on the facebook there are photos of some his violins that he makes. Pretty amazing stuff. Patricia's voice is angelic. Listening to that woman belt it out around a campfire is really amazing.
  9. yeah for sure, when it rains it pours though. I have friends playing in two different bluegrass bands that night in Southampton, The Riverbend Gentlemen and Moonshiner's Daughter. That show is a nice early start and it's more of a fund raiser type event at the Bruce County Museum, should be over early enough for me to make it to the Wiz also. Looking forward to a great night.
  10. ^^^your house shaking do something to your head or what?
  11. looks like mig in his hand
  12. Nice... thanks or the heads up. First there was Toadhouse at the Wiz a couple weeks ago and now Must Stash Hat. I've only been up in the Bruce for 6 years waiting for a scene to start developing up here. Gonna do my best to make it or this.
  13. Lettuce is a good band, seen them a couple times now, in big outdoor settings. Inside a bar would be amazing. I'm gonna mark this one down. Wood Bros. would be pretty awesome at the Drake too.
  14. Amazing Twist last night, wowzers. Got me shakin' my ass all around the house with my baby Felix in my arms, showing him how it's done. Best thing so far this tour.
  15. too mean.... I don't like being mean, wasn't sitting well with me so I deleted...
