  1. So far, camping is tops on the list, but its still far way to commit.
  2. I downloaded the PBS version (no 69 footage) of this from back in aug or sept, good show. I would love to get my hands on the version of Tommy from may or june 69 with Pete playing 12 string acoustic. The first full-length recording of Tommy is still pretty sweet though.
  3. Actually, I believe Tito does sell tickets, but its usually in the parking lot before an Eagles concert.
  4. Nice, god knows the village needs a venue with good live music again, might just persuade all the fun and good folks that used to hang out to come back, instead of the scene it is (or was at least) the last time I visited there. Cheers & good luck Brian.
  5. I was about make a comment about fox reporting old information as "news", but then I noticed the date of this article..
  6. Wish I had seen this earlier, hope ya'll had a good show. Tazman Blue

This was sorta funny, and perhaps a bit confusing. Glad you had a good time though, not my style of music mind you, but hey - screw me right? - since I don't enjoy it. Honestly, you can't say you didn't expect somebody to flame.

    PHISH Vids

I have these (except perhaps the cypress one) still. I'm getting a new burner beginning of next week, so I couldn't do anything before then. I'm not interested in a trade though, unless its a Dylan (video only), Gordon Lightfooot (vid or audio) or the Gourds (vid or audio) I don't already have on my list. http://www.phishhook.com/lists/Esau?listid=11#Phish
  11. Yeah, it was an HMV (Limeridege Mall) he worked at back then as well. Last show I remember seeing them at was in Hamilton, at a bar called 'Teasers' (if I remember correctly), a small upstairs rank hardcore club on king st. I think they were billed with Death of God (D.O.G) and Problem Children, but I could be mistaken, it was so long ago now. Anyway, good to recall some of those memories, I'd say to say hello, but I doubt he would remember me. And yeah, I'd be interested in checking out the recording if it ever gets released, keep us posted.
  12. Very sad news. Another big loss to the steeltown music scene. Dik Van Dykes! Great garage punk band, wow haven't thought about them in ages. I knew Steve from the Dik Van Dykes (only socially though eg: shows, record store he worked at etc). I think I still have a copy of "Nobody Likes The Dik Van Dykes" (on vinyl) somewhere around here, although I doubt it plays all to well now-a-days.
