  2. Doin' That Rag - hands down. Blow Away - holds some strong fond memories and will always be a favourite, especially the one from 05/06/90 . Good times.
  3. Apparently not. Although that doesn't come as much surprise. I sorta hope they don't just do festivals, a Toronto show would get me out.
  4. William "Willie" Lee Perryman (a.k.a Piano Red or Dr.Feelgood) The Doctor's In! Vol 3
  5. I wasn't actually refering to anyone in this thread, just in general from reading the news articles posted & numerous other mentions in media (TV, radio microsofts website etc)and some tech sites, there is a lot more people then the few in this thread out there jumping to firefox. But now that you bring it up...
  6. Cheers to you my friend. I hope you have a great day. Drink up.
  7. http://support.mozilla.com/Uninstalling+Internet+Explorer [color:red][edit to add] Its sorta funny to see all the hoopla about this and folks scrambling to use firefox. Makes ya wonder why folks didnt switch when it happened in 2006 (M$ excel "zero-day" flaw) or even when it happened back in january of this year? (also an excel "zero-day" flaw). It's not like it was kept under wraps until now.
  8. I can understand that Tim. I'm really only looking at it from the thread topic point of view though. I mean its sorta disappointing to see a US flag adorned on a CBC product. I guess I'd just like to see Canadian public funded companies spend their funding in Canada. I guess it comes down to how much these scarves cost, and also how many people are buying them - I mean are they selling (or giving away) that many of them that the cost is better spent in the US? (rhetorical)
  9. Probally, I honestly don't know. But why not lowest Canadian bidder?
  10. With the amount of funding to CBC (1.1 billion) you'd really think they would be purchasing from, or contracting Canadian companies. Disappointing to say the least.
  11. I'd say the best site for live Dylan now-a-days is Hungercity. http://www.hungercity.org [color:red][edit to add] Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Essar Centre November 9, 2008 http://www.hungercity.org/details.php?id=3528

  13. Goin be a smokin show, can't wait for DBT. No idea if we're making the Hold steady, although I'm not to concerned if I do or not. Already got my beer chilled, should start into them approximately in 2hrs - I know I should start now, but I need to restock my meds and I get the feeling if I show up drunk for a 9:30am doc appointment he may not want to give em to me... See ya'll at the show, I'll be the guy wearing a jacket.
  14. Just waiting on that show to turn up. listening to Kamloops now, pretty much the same set - band sounds great. Glad ya had a good one.
  15. Both my grandfathers were in WWII, one was stationed on a corvette and my little brother is currently serving in the British airforce (QRAF), he served 7 years in the Canadian navy (HMCS Toronto when it was commisioned, then later, the Iroquis) previous to moving to the U.K.
  16. Hard to pick a "best" but as for top notch, Garland Shuping from Bluegrass Alliance is my vote.
  17. Freewheeling Folk Show CFMU 93.3 FM http://cfmu.mcmaster.ca/index.shtml
