I was there too! It was insane how much sweat was pouring off of him. That was a really fun night- I miss Porter Hall shows.

I love fishbone! I've seen them 7 or 8 times- and their shows have been some of my most memorable concert experiences. (they were best in the early 90s) The last time I saw them was that Zaphods show Bradm mentioned and it was great- even if Angelo and Norwood were the only 2 original members and they're pushing 45- the energy was ramped. I think most people in the room had contact with his Doc Marten that night.. Weirdly, I ended up in the dressing room with the band, drinking tequila shots and smokin doobs; after a few rounds, Angelo and the drummer stripped naked and took showers in full view of the bartender and I. It was surreal. Theeen.. we left and I believe Stapes traded tshirts with Angelo. then i puked on my street. anyhoo- I'll always go see them if they're around, while I can.

Dio is in Ottawa tonight?!?! I might go hang-out around the tourbus with a bag of oregano.

is that a cub-car? anyone out there ever do the cub-car thing? i think the furthest i ever made it was 4th round. Fucking cub-cars.. I never had any help, (thanks dad) and the only carving tool I had was a pocket knife- so mine always looked like a beaver gnawed them out of a tree and some maniac dipped it in poorly mixed paint.. (thanks again dad). I also didnt clue in until after my first competition that there were weights inserted to make them go faster. I have no fond memories of cub cars.

That looks cool- but driving by the plaza area the other day, we thought it looked a little small. Maybe its hard to judge vs. the plaza at city hall, but it doesnt seem to have a tremendous amount of extra space. regardless, I cant wait for this... you volunteering Adam?
