  2. This poor game has died... Let's revive it!
  3. Having a little flashback.. JGB Live at GratefulFest 8, Nelson Ledges Quarry Park on July 6, 2007 Tough Mama Cats Down Under the Stars Run For The Roses Money Honey That Lucky Old Sun Ain't No Bread in the Breadbox My Sisters And Brothers Tangled up in Blue http://www.archive.org/details/JGB2007-07-06.km184.v2.flac16
  4. Ewwwwwwwwww that's gross... Looks like he's about to explode or something!
  5. Our friend, Rich already saw it twice! He went once at Midnight Wednesday and again Thursday afternoon.. He's a huge Indiana Jones fan and loved it..
  6. Happy Birthday!! Hope you have a wonderful day!
  7. I was looking at some of the usernames and some are very interesting! Where did y'all come up with yours? Some are obvious, but some just have me wondering what they mean.. Mine came about a few years ago when living in Colorado.. My friends and I were feeling weird and made up superhero names for each other, and I quickly became Captain Sunshine since I love the sunshine!
  8. Are you driving across? I have crossed several times by car and have had no problems. Didn't even have a passport or anything. They just asked where I was from and how long I was staying and that's about it.. Was there for less than 3 minutes. I don't know if this will help since I'm American and it might be a bit different for a Canadian, but I'm not sure.. I think they welcome any tourists they can get though.
  9. We didn't end up going to the Biltmore (I'll get there one day!).. But we had a nice drive south from Asheville on the Blue Ridge Parkway, ending on the highest point on the Parkway.. The beauty of this place still amazes me! Here's some pictures!
  10. Nonfiction: I finished Hippie by Barry Miles a few weeks ago.. It's just a narrative of stories, history, quotations, as well as hundreds of photos highlighting 1965-1971. It's super interesting and I love all the pictures.. Nonfiction-ish: I enjoy Carlos Castaneda's books: The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge -and- A Separate Reality. These are supposed to be non-fiction, but this has been a topic of debate since they were published. Lots of descriptions of peyote, mushrooms, etc., and very entertaining!
  11. Yay Ari!!! Hope you had a good one!
  12. Baj and I loved them when we saw them in St. John! Lots of fun!
  13. Yeah but there's 2 other people to consider here.. I can't just turn a tv off when they're watching it.. I'm not that selfish..
  14. Our TV died before our move, so we were in Asheville for a little over a month without one. I loved it! I hate wasting time staring at a television (I do enjoy movies every now and then.. but mostly documentary and music stuff).. Our friend came and brought a TV while he's staying here, and it drives me nuts that it all the sudden became the focal point of our living room. Before there was other stuff like art and nature to look at, now the TV rules the room it seems like it.. I just hate TV.. This is coming from a girl who graduated with a bachelor's in video production!
  15. So my parents are coming this weekend from Kentucky, and it's going to be fun showing them around this amazing place! I'm hoping to take them to the Biltmore Estate, which is the largest privately owned home in the USA.. Read about it here.
  16. I've never brought a cell phone into a show before.. Doesn't fit in my pocket and I just don't know when I'd use it anyways since I can't even go to get a beer cause I'd miss some of the show.. I see people who are constantly on their phones during concerts, and it confuses me, but never has ruined my experience. I have a friend who gets "lost" in his cell phone sometimes during shows.. I've always wondered why, but when I'm not with him at a show I would normally want to be at, he sends me texts of random things/songs that he knew I'd enjoy and I always love it.. It's like I'm sort of there when I'm not if that makes sense.. And now I understand that he's doing that with other friends and it's pretty cool of him!
  17. Ha, that's pretty funny! I used to watch Bob Ross all the time! I loved when he made his "happy trees"!
  18. Awwwwww! I thought for sure you guys (Mark and Kanada Kev) would try to go to the July fest there! Boooooooo now I'm sad! I was hoping for another dance-off, Mark! Ari, you better try real hard to get to Gratefulfest because we all wanna see ya!!
