  1. very disturbing. Need more drugs to truly appreciate it
  2. (((((((bump)))))) gotta get rid of these tix!
  3. I would have to say that Tom Henke is up there, but so is Mariano Rivera.... For the National League, I would say Trevor Hoffman.
  4. Holy SH!!T! So sorry to hear that. Will there be a benefit to help these guys out?
  5. I have two tix for the Aug 16 Meatloaf show at Rama. I got them for a friend, now she doesn't want them. Ticketbastard doesn't do exchanges or refunds, so, if you or someone you know wants 'em, I'm willing to deal.
  6. I don't know the guy you're talking about, but they do have a tendancy to focus in on the fret board a lot of the time. You know, really tight shots that don't give a good view of the riff as a whole. and the roaming camera guy just seems to get in the way all the time.
  7. It's an LSG (Low Smoke Generator). It works with a fog machine. You attach a large canister of CO2, open 'er up, turn it on, and go on the smoke. The CO2 combines with the fog, forces it to go pretty far. As it is super cold, it sits low to the ground, kinda like dry ice. as it warms, it rises, looking like it comes from under the deck.
  8. Thanks for being born Jerry, things are always better when you're around....
  9. A sweet Loser on right now....thanks for passin' the dutchie!
  10. He even has a huge losing record in the minor leagues...how this guy ever started getting paid to play hockey I will never understand
  11. Can someone explain to me why the Leafs got Scott Clemmenson? They already have two goalies, and Clemmenson is a proven loser....I have been trying to figure out the rationale, but any logic in the desicion has eluded me. any thoughts?
  12. I think that because people in the city aren't outwardly friendly, it's precieved as rude or unfriendly, but you can walk in any part of Toronto, stop a stranger and ask directions, and they will help you out. Doesn't that say a lot?

    Transformers

Went to see it at the drive in, and we LOVED IT!! The animation is SO fast when they transform, and in the fight sequences. So good.

    simpsonize me

YAY! I finally got it to work today...here's me:
  15. I lived in T.O. for over 10 years, and the thing I noticed the most was that people in the City are cold, yet when something out of the ordinary happens, a streetcar stall perhaps, the walls come down and people start to talk and laugh. "The Blackout" was a prime example of this. The attitude of the city changed from cold to friendly in no time.
  16. I like Stairs. I don't think he should be the first baseman, he has a hole in his glove you could drive a truck through, but keep him as a DH or PH. I like his bat, he's one of few left handed batters we have, and besides, he's a Canadian boy who wants to play in Toronto.
  17. Wow...intense...I think I'm going to check out his show tomorrow
  18. I totally agree, but when I was 12 years old, that album changed my life! I think it totally changed the face of music. Especially in the 80's!
  19. I can't see them trading either, but I would not get on the selling train. I think they have a great team, with a good combonation of youth and experience. If they don't make the playoffs this year, (I know, it's likely they won't, but I keep the faith.) I would make a few trades or sell offs...Chacin for one, and maybe getting a better batting catcher, and try to fill the rest of the rotation out. Thomas, Stairs, Glaus...I'd keep 'em all. Burnett too, and Ryan...injuries didn't allow them to show their full potential. Ok, is it just me, or does anyone else long for the days when we had Orlando Hudson at second and Hill at Short? Where's Tony Fernandez when we need him?
