  1. How about that first Jersey goal, eh? Worst.Of.Price's.Career. Well, worst I can remember anyways.
  2. Hahahaha, I was just coming in to post that this game made me feel like I was watching Atari.
  3. Fuck nobility when you are running a professional sports franchise. As a GM, your number one priority is to build a winner. That's it.
  4. Apparently one of the prospects has failed his physical, not sure if it is a player traded to the Jays.
  5. I am willing to bet ya'll will be seeing this pop up in your emails over the next few days, if you havent already: It is near the Christmas break of the school year. The students have turned in all their work and there is really nothing more to do. All the children are restless and the teacher decides to have an early dismissal. Teacher: "Whoever answers the questions I ask, first and correctly can leave early today." Little Johnny says to himself "Good, I want to get outta here. I'm smart and will answer the question." Teacher: "Who said 'Four Score and Seven Years Ago'?" Before Johnny can open his mouth, Susie says, "Abraham Lincoln." Teacher: "That's right Susie, you can go home..." Johnny is mad that Susie answered the question first. Teacher: "Who said 'I Have a Dream'?" Before Johnny can open his mouth, Mary says, "Martin Luther King." Teacher: "That's right Mary, you can go." Johnny is even madder than before. Teacher: "Who said 'Ask not, what your country can do for you'?" Before Johnny can open his mouth, Nancy says, "John F. Kennedy." Teacher: "That's right Nancy, you may also leave." Johnny is boiling mad that he has not been able to answer to any of the questions. When the teacher turns her back Johnny says, "I wish these bitches would keep their mouths shut!" The teacher turns around: "NOW WHO SAID THAT?" Johnny: "Tiger Woods. Can I go now?"
  6. Gotta be economics and possibly knowing that Lee isnt interested in either resigning with them or with the amount they were planning to offer or had offered.
  7. This might be it kids. To Philadelphia: Roy Halladay (Roy signs for 60 millions over 3 more years), $6M cash, Phillippe Aumont RHP, Juan Carlos Ramirez RHP, Tyson Gillies OF To Seattle: Cliff Lee To Toronto: Kyle Drabek RHP (Tommy John surgery, and who else had that in recent Jays memory? BJ Ryan), Michael Taylor OF, Travis D’Arnaud C
  8. If fuckingGainey trades Halak for a 2nd round draft pick..............I swear I may go postal.
  9. Wells isnt going anywhere (never was Hal) unless his injuries have wreaked havoc on him the past couple of seasons. IF he turns it around.......then anything is possible.
  10. I should probably clarify. I agree that the Jays had to make this move. Roy was gone, no doubt about it but was now the right time? We'll see. My main point is that this is going to have a hugely negative impact on an already tired and listless fanbase. The Jays werefucked no matter what. A reallyshitty ballpark, a team that doesnt look like its going anywhere because it hasnt in seemingly forever, no true marketable stars.......there's a lot of bad going on. I really hope they can pull through.
  11. I know the time-space continuum is facked in my world right now, but did that not seem like a really quick first period?
  12. It really doesnt matter Hal, trust me. You CANNOT replace someone like Roy Halladay. This move is going to further erode an already eroding fanbase.
  13. I know what I can make bigger with two fingers.
  14. Punk is drinking a bottle of The Black Tower in my demotivational picture.
  15. WTF? Did you have to dig that bottle out of the ground?
  16. Seems like a perfect gig for Backbacon. I'm serious. If I had a do-over, I would hire him for my wedding even though I dont know if he does it 'professionally'.
  17. I dont get Carey Price. He makes arguably his best save of the season as well as that left leg kick-out which saved the game, but once again gives up a terrible floater from the blue line. Is he handicapped from time to time because he is a young goalie? Is it a mental thing? Seriously, I cant recall seeing someone give up so many shitty goals but can also play like he is the cat's ass.
