  1. Were you playing Whiter Shade Of Pale at the time?
  2. You're welcome Signed, Boozhe
  3. Was this you? "I feel like a mountain goat trying to get to my seat.” http://liveforlivemusic.com/features/the-funniest-things-overheard-at-the-grateful-deads-final-shows-in-chicago/
  4. I love that they ended with Attics Of My Life. That's fucking perfect.
  5. I only was able to watch the first set last night but holyfuckballs, that Mountains Of The Moon > Throwing Stones was absolutely oustanding~!
  6. That first set was fantastic. I cant say for sure but............ Shakedown Street Liberty (HUGELY underated song, the last 3 Garcia/Hunter tunes were insanely good much like all of them) Standing On The Moon ( sometimes droogzybeers are great because I assumed we were on the third S-song of the night and my Phish-fan brain giggled thinking they might be doing an all S set) Me And My Uncle Tenessee Jed Cumberland Blues Little Red Rooster Friend Of The Devil Deal Jed (not a fan of that song) and Deal were absolutely smoking.
  7. Where's my heady Fake Jerry acoustic set from earlier in Chicago today? That guy is fucking great.
  8. I think tongiht is the only night I will be able to catch live. Looking forward to it based on what I have heard from GD50. Here's a thought........is it possible they might not repeat a song over the 5 shows? I suppose it is but can you imagine they dropped their heaviest hitters (debate for another day) on the very first night? Really? None of these? “Truckin’” / “Uncle John’s Band” / “Alligator” / “Cumberland Blues” / “Born Cross-Eyed” / “Cream Puff War” / “Viola Lee Blues” / “Cryptical Envelopment” / “Dark Star” / “St. Stephen” / “The Eleven” / “Turn On Your Love Light” / “Drums / Space” / “What’s Become of the Baby” / “The Other One” / “Morning Dew” / Encore: “Casey Jones” That setlist fucking kicks g-damn ass! ! It's easily still my favorite. Aside from the encore, gotta be Bid You Goodnight provided they actually worked on some harmonies, I would guess that might be the closer in Chicago.
  9. I'm finally getting around to set 1 of the second night, havent heard the first night yet aside from some bits here and there while last night (first night Chicago) the only full song I heard was Crazy Fingers. I gotta say..........this Stranger opening the show is fuckingfantastic! The band is rolling while Mutron Trey is going to destroy Phish kids this summer if he finds places to employ that sound. Fuuuuuuuck me. I kinda wanna see Phish Summer Tour 2015 now. By the way, EVERYONE who steps into this thread absolutely has to watch the CBC link AD provided. Now.
  10. FANFUCKINGTASTIC!!!!!
  11. "I think that Hornsby has been really solid too" Fuck me, perhaps he has been but I really only know the 2nd set of the 2nd show in Santa Clara thanks to said Yoube-y clip but I am NOT hearing Hornsby at all. Tinkles. I am hearing Chimenti on the B3 from time to time but that's it from the keys. I cannot comment on his playing.
  12. Hahahahaa. Post.Of.The.Year. So anyways..........I am listening to that Youtube-y second set from last night posted earlier. Half-Step > Wharf Rat is great stuff, all things considered. I heard little bits from the first night and I gotta say that I didnt expect things to go this well. Obviously you are going to have some things go rather poorly, like harmonies with this group of vagabonds but Phil and Trey are fucking killing it together while I am really enjoying some of the stuff Bobby has layered between them. In all honesty, this is far better than I would have ventured to guess upon. No idea how anyone could complain to be honest but then again, I have only heard a small sample size. Really happy Gord was at these shows and that Velvet/Phorbs/RobL/ChrisP/JamieLeeBall and others will be seeing Chicago shows. Have too much fun! !!! Dare I suggest that Trey helped Phil get his shit back together in 1999 and now Phil is returning the favour 16 years later? Hahaha. I'll leave that bullshit debate to others.
  13. If I Could The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday's Shoe Fits
  14. Yup. That certainly speaks to me DaveO "This gig is so easy, I can play with one hand while holding a convo with you Bruccccccce. Did I ever tell you that I personally know a Christian who met a goddess resembling Shiva during a bout of ego death. "
