  1. Picking days to attend a festival you will never attend? Heck, I hear you bro. M'lday is always giving me the gears for daydreaming:
  2. ".......beat the traffic..........." I didnt realize you have never been to Bluesfest.
  3. Low Roller is simply excited because some ponce from Radiohead is on the bill.
  4. I put this 75th Bday show upon arriving home after work this evening. I was sold on Eric Krasno during Althea. He and Warren are fantastic together. There was a bit during the first set during some jam that Warren Haynes was perfectly teasing Terrapin Station. Right off the bat this first set suggests a wicked time to come. By the way Jaimoe, it's the Allman's End Of The Line. Perfect fun
  5. The difference between Phish and me is that Phish dont love ya buddy
  6. Hi Betty, I know you will be getting lots of mail so I will keep it short. What the heck happened with the ticketing for Toronto? At both PTBM and regular onsale time the best tickets that were being found by most (I will admit that one friend did receive Pits from the lottery) were 400 level at best. Immediately following the onsale there was an onslaught of 200s to StubHub. We all tried really hard to get good tix for the first show back in TO since 2000 (I was there and at 99 too); and then to watch Ticketmaster drop 300s and Pits over the weekend and then all of the remaining 200s yesterday. I won't swear- or stomp on my soapbox- but I will just say that I am supremely dissapointed. I read that Phish got a $1 mill dollar bonus to play only LNation venues last summer. I would expect that will have to stay in place as fewer and fewer fans want to buy bad seats at the onsale- and will rather wait for prices to fall drastically on the secondary market due to the backhanded tactics. Would Phish really rather have Live Nations money, than from their own fans? Perhaps that is one of the reasons they are no longer a band that sells out shows, but sells out its fans. Lets be honest here the band or management is clearly playing with the on sales to ensure that the worst seats are eaten up by real fans, and then maybe you get some casual interlopers to buy the good seats near the show. Somehow this seems like a better way to sell more tickets to someone like Coran. This is not acceptable and Phish fans won't stand for it. I will never ever buy tickets to a Phish event in advance again. I hope the lid gets blown off of this situation like all of those manhole covers during the massive storm last night. Even though I love the band -this will be my 63rd show- all travelling far and wide from Canada (even during the days of 52% currency exchange)- this is the first time I feel like they don't love us. Too bad, so sad.
  7. I always get supremely sucked into this one
  8. The read of last night's first set is positively superb. Love love love! Those are some of my favorite songs yet ended up getting shelved for whatever reason. Dupree's, Doin' That Rag, Cosmic Charlie and Here Comes Sunshine all within the same set. That's fucking wonderful! and whenever I read Viola Lee Blues in a set the blood rushes from my brain = awesome.....that 2nd set looks amazing. I love that Warren will throw a Just A Little Light down inside a set that began with Dear Mr Fantasy #BrentMydlandnod I'm so happy you guys caught these shows.
  9. Hundred Dollar Hood I think you just gave me an idea for a song but I am gonna need Davey Boy's help and none of this DB 2.0 shit either.
  10. Guessing you will be in on that Phish 12-31-95 vinyl NW? That's gonna be a dandy as will the Wake Up To Find Out GD release (03-29-1990 with Branford, the infamous Eyes Of The World). I am hoping I smartly stumble into enough money to get both killer shows on Record Store Day. If I can only do one the Dead's is a no-brainer for me.

  13. wow. That's a groove and a half DaveO. Never heard of this cat until now. Nice. I just heard this song a couple of months ago on a cartoon called Rick And Morty. Dont air that show to your kids you guys but check it out after agagger. It's fantastic. Anyways. I have been addicted to this song since I was introduced to it. Fantastic moment on the show too........dont spoil it for yourself but watch this show.........gaggerly. Edit: I just listened to this song twice in a row. I havent been so addicted to a song in years. Hell, I havent listened to a song twice in a row in years and it happens on the reg (and more than twice in a sitting) with Look On Down From The Bridge. It's just fucking perfect to my ears. I love heart wrenching ballads and this one hits that spot wherein you feel like it was written for you, at least that's what it has done to me. Fuck. This is always good (third time listening). It just keeps getting better. Ripple had the same effect on me.
  14. Hey Dave, I believe it's The Allman Brothers but I cant confirm since I havent listened. When I first read it I assumed the Wilbury's without using my brain since Warren Haynes is playing with him on this run (one team member change and this is the PLQ). I dont know how this Eric Krasno is sounding within this ensemble but he is fantastic as a part of Joe Russo's Almost Dead. Great to read Velvet (and Phorbsie assumed) are there as well as TimmyB! ! !!! Broken Arron > Terrapin? Are you fucking kidding me? I pretty near shit my pants reading that. Edit: Oh yeah.......its this dude
