What is Vibes in the Valley?

Listened to disc 1 all they way through tonight, what a snore fest. Reuben and Cherise and Loser stood out, Me and my Uncle and Candyman were OK but the rest were soooo boring.

I was debating if he needed the off day between shows (no shows 2 days in a row, even in Toronto) because of the illness or are they leaving the dates open for when the tickets sell out in minutes and they add on second shows everywhere.

The London show is actually on August 8th. Sad news for sure. Huge influence on my early music career, Fully Completely and Day for Night were a big part of my high school life.

Ha! I remember Douglas being on here all sauced one night many moons ago and saying she wanted to talk to someone so I gave her a random buddies number saying it was mine. She called all "woohoo! lets phone party" like and my buddy had no idea what was going on.

Steve Gunn, was in Kurt Vile's backing band, of which I could never get into, but his solo stuff sounds good to my ears. I am surprised he has never popped up on here.

I have been waiting patiently, imagining that you just couldn't get yourself to the state you were in when you actually attended the show and you just keep trying and failing since the last time you posted. Then I wonder if I will get to read about the failures and the amount of times you woke up pant-less lying face down on your floor in front of your stereo with chip crumbs stuck in your beard.

If anyone west of the city is planning on going know that the Gardiner is closed all weekend from 427 to Carlaw.

Still having the issue with when I click on the most recent page of the what are you listening to thread which opens no problem (pg.382) but when i want to look at the page before (pg.381) it just spins the loading sign at me. Firefox and Explorer. Anyone else or is it just me?

I listened to the first two songs they released and was very underwhelmed. I will give the whole thing a listen but I suspect the same feeling and also expect people to call it album of the year or decade or millenialum (insert your own made up hipster word). I used to love these guys but have been let down with every album since Kid A. Oh well.
