  1. maybe! but I know a thing or two and that paiste and congested thing that Lukather has going on tells another story. Its probably just jet lag! as long as by jet lag you mean they were trying to get through all of their blow before their jet landed in Japan.
  2. .... the serious amount of hard drugs that must have been on Toto's 1982 Tour of Japan. Check this out: Every band member looks like Pete Doherty
  3. Glad your on the case Sherlock! We need closure.
  4. Envelope 3 Sunday the 6th late night in the saloon.
  5. Is that an empty glass with an umbrella topped cock in it?? PARTY TIME!

  7. Two sets? Aloha' date=' Brad[/quote'] I'm planning on 2 sets. More new tunes.
  8. Start time will be 10pm with Mark Harris, who if you haven't seen is worth checking out. He's hilarious. I imagine I'll be on at 11. Really looking forward to it.
  9. Thanks for recording the show! There was no Slayer though. Although I think I threatened to play seasons in the abyss. It was the law and order svu theme as requested by new rider
  10. looking forward to it. Swizzles is a cool little room. I always have fun playing there.
  11. United kept my Taylor for one week, lost. got it back, but it was in a different tuning. nice. some a-hole had m,y guitar for a week to play.
  12. looking forward to it! traded sleep for practice last night. I think it was a good trade.
  13. Definitely looking forward to this one! The Dominion is a really nice venue. And it should be a great time being able to play until 4am!
  14. funny, out of all the great memories from there, two funny things stick out in my mind. one is the night giggles spilled an entire vodka/cranberry all over my pedalboard and cables. I made some sort of half assed effort to clean it up. That was the start of 3 1/2 solid months on the road with no break to go home. The whole tour, my cables were sticky. By the end of the tour, the amount of bar sludge gathered from every tour stop from victoria to halifax to nyc was amazing. almost worthy of its own Rheostatics song. The other is when at the end of the show, someone set off a stink bomb, which cleared the bar except for us of course, left to tear down with a horrible fart smell around us. not that that was unusual actually.
  15. I'm really looking forward to getting back to the Jimmy Jazz in Guelph this Saturday night. It was always one of my favourite rooms to play with nero. I'll be playing all night from about 10 until close. I know a lot of folks are going to the Pepperjacks final night, but if your in Guelph, come on down and check out the show. Envelope 3
  16. It was always great to play at pepperjacks. Ken and Doug are top notch folks. always looked forward to the honey butter. mmm... You'll be missed.
  17. I really want to be started just before 12. Shane will start at 10 with a 35 minute set, followed by Electroluminescent with a 45 minute set, followed by me with a set with an unknown length.
  18. Thanks Juls. I like it to. For those who haven't heard Electroluminescent, he is a fantastic musician. Totally worth checking out.
  19. Hey Everyone, Just wanted to let you know I'll be doing a show at Cafe Dekcuf this Saturday night April 4. Its been a long time since I've done a show at Dekcuf and I'm really excited to play there again. Also performing will be Electroluminescent (from Hamilton) and Shane Whitbread (Ottawa) All the acts are solo and we are all some variation on the one man band. Showtime is 9pm $8 door Hope to see some of you there! by the way, this will be my 2nd last show using my own name. I'm going to be calling my solo act Envelope 3 from here on out.
  20. Ha!, Quebec can be a funny place. I remember getting pulled over ( I was a passenger) and the cops checked everyones ID. They came back and told me I had an unpaid ticket. My options were to go to jail or pay the cops cash on the spot. I paid them.
  21. opener: Hip to Be Square (Huey Lewis) closer: The Alphabet of Nations (TMBG)
  22. I have a micro korg that is now for sale. I just replaced it with a dave smith poly evolver. I'd let it go for $350.00, comes with a gig bag.
  23. I wish I had taken some backroads. The detour was ridiculous.
