  1. Awful news, I am very moved by all the out pouring of emotions. Although I didn't know Jesse very well - I sense his spirit and memory will live long. Much love to you and your family Eric. My sister went through a 2 year fight with leukemia and it was a very hard and difficult time for my family. It was the reason I moved back to Toronto in 2004 from a happy life in Nova Scotia. It's a miracle that she is still alive - at the hospital there were very few survivors. Cancer is such an awful disease and I know way too many people who's families have been deeply affected. I'm very sorry to hear your loss, may Jesse live on in the music that made him so happy.

Releasing a live album that was recorded in Toronto this summer, The New Deal continues to be a trail blazer in live electronica. Check out the preview clip This Saturday we have a legendary show put together with 3 of Canada's top Jam acts including: The Burt Neilson Band, The Fat Cats & The Gratefully Deadicated Soundsystem. This is the 4th annual event event that promises to be a great end of year party with your favorite Canadian roots rockers. Lastly for Boxing Day, in conjunction with Do Right Music, we are hosting a Tribute to the late James Brown. We celebrate the man and music, with an audio/visual retrospective of his life. Spinning his original hits, cover tunes, remixes and the JB's inspired grooves - it's time to "To Get Down and Get on the Good Foot!" It's the end of a very busy year for Nufunk Concerts, we've had some wonderful shows! Thanks for all your support and input - it's been a wild ride.
