I've got approximately 10 extra compact fluorescent light bulbs sitting at home. Does anybody want them? If yes, I'll bring them to the Hamilton DD/RG show on Saturday.

I'd love to (finally) hit up a Widespread Panic show! Fingers crossed for summer rumours becoming reality ...

Hal, I'm hoping that this thread is putting a big smile on your face and is helping to drive out the bluesy blahs ...

Wow, I'm likely going to be away on the weekend of the 4th, but if I'm around for the Kitchener show I'm in for sure! It's rare that we get a show like this in this city!

All the best to both of you ... that happy city will be an even happier place with the two of you living there!

It's been a while since I've been out to a show, and even longer since I've been to one at PJC. Hopefully I can make it out to this one for a blast of live music and friendship!

Rush acoustic!
On a more serious note, good luck with this venture LM! It sounds like you are really getting into the new job, which is awesome!

I saw DMB at Maple Leaf Gardens in 1998, and enjoyed that show. I haven't really paid much attention to what he's done since then. I'd consider going to this show if I could get a cheap ticket.

about the possibility of missing Gratefulfest and all of you wonderful people. But I'm confident that we'll figure out another way to have some fun together!

Not to mention that a DBT show in a bar is not the kind of concert experience that I'm looking to expose my son to at this point!

Thanks for the reminder Kev ... I decided to grab a pair of lawn tickets ... I'm thinking I'll be ready for another show after a weekend festival!
I may end up bringing my 10-year-old son to this. Rush was my first ever "big concert" experience, and it would be his as well, which would be cool. (Not that I remember much from the show I went to, other than being overwhelmed by the whole experience.) And I haven't seen Rush since then, so I'm long overdue. I'm not the biggest Rush fan, but I like 'em, and everyone tells me they put on a great live show.

you should all come to rothbury!!! bought my tickets today!
I've been considering Rothbury as well, and it would be great to party with you and James again this summer. I'm going to wait for some more announcements from the Ledges for the July 4th weekend and see what others are saying before buying a ticket to either one.

ohh man I wish it was still in July.. it's been moved to Labourday which I'm not tooo sure if I could go...
The mid july time is the best time.. why did they change it???
Just to clarify ... I can't make it to Gratefulfest on the Labour Day weekend, but I'm still seriously considering heading to Nelson Ledges for the July 4th weekend, as there is a music festival going on. It's not Gratefulfest, but it's looking really good so far.

Another show I'd like to check out this summer! I'm thinking a last-minute lawn ticket depending on what else is going on.
