  1. Sounds good, Ari, enjoy. Not going myself, but I think that Im going to New Hamp because yer doing these, so its kinda like I'm going, just staggeringly different. I need to lie down. :offline:
  2. Damien Cox ought to be euthanized. Not for this, just because he's a piss-poor writer. And, Friday nights pork chops were great. Anyone know what Pat's having for dinner tonight?
  3. A - Pat, Im glad yer not dead. B - I'm having pork chops for dinner.
  4. Rest eternal grant unto him, and let light perpetual shine upon him. RIP Pat.
  5. Now, ollie, c'mon, what would I know about relegation? We can't even lose. Only goal Zilina got yest was an own goal that the ref took away from us. :chug: :content:
  6. Sticky the F**king thing! Just do it. :chug:
  7. Dear Jays/Rogers, You C**Ksuckers! Our up-and-coming ace, the guy you got for Halladay, starts his first major league game, and Bautista ties the team record for homers. Wish I could have seen it, bastards. Leafs and Raps already think I'm stupid enough for their pay channels (I'm not btw, I dont even pay for cable), but I could always count on the Jays. You've really earned the "Toronto" in Toronto Blue Jays this year, looking for fan loyalty as you repeatedly sh*t on us. Sincerely unwilling to pay to watch .500 (or less) teams on TV, mister slippery
  8. Ugh, bad news for ManU. According to bbc, Valencia will likely be out till at least April after his horrible ankle destruction yesterday. Sir Alex is comparing the severity to when Alan Smith went down. Got no love for ManU*, but hate to see that. * excluding Giggsy, that cat's the tops.
  9. Good day yest, as far as I'm concerned. Loved that Benfica result. Sir Alex might've been a bit cocky with that lineup, and geez, poor Valencia (the man, not the team). Pretty gross. Now then, on to what I really want. C'mon 2pm, hurry up. I'm ready for Chelsea. :chug:
  10. Champions starts in 5 minutes!! United have Rio Ferdinand back in the lineup and wearing the captain's armband (as he should on United). Ollie, wherever you may be, good luck. Who's the Rangers fan? MOBE? Hope I've got that right, and good luck vs Man U, never gonna be easy. Sloth, guess you and me gotta wait for tomorrow. :content:
  11. That's great, DB. I've no love for City, but I do wish Balotelli all the best. From his time having bananas chucked at him at Inter, he deserves a good year, imo.
  12. Nice one! Does sync up quite well. :content:
  13. Had no idea, but it's all fitting together now. :content:
  14. Man, Sloth, you guys just get sh*t on every year with injuries. Yer like the Washington Capitals of the EPL. Love kicking 5 layers of crap outta Arsenal, but itd be nice for you to be able to field a club. Bad luck, man.
  15. Good fun, though I must admit, I fell asleep for a bit. Nice to be there, great seats, but what a dull game. Oh well, much fun had by all, and many thanks again, for all you are and do.
  16. As a wee addendum to my earlier babbling, it appears that Mr. Spooner is in fact Casey Spooner, 1/2 of Fischerspooner. The band asked him to do an opening set on this tour, and he has an Adult-Contemp-ish debut album coming out in October. The more you know...
  17. Oh, and Bouche, you should go. It's pretty gay, but just awesome fun. Wish I was going again soon.
  18. Well, that was simply Fag-tastic! Just an awesome night. They're basically down to a four-piece band since Paddy Boom left the band, but they've got a few touring musicians with em, so still a great full sound. Jake, Ana, Del, and um, Babydaddy, plus a drummer, a keyboardist, and 2 female backup singers seems to be the lineup. DJ Sammy Jo was the opener, he spun a solid set of house, though a bit predictable. I'm not a huge connoisseur of house, but 2 of the big grooves were from live sets I've got on disc (Deep Dish in Miami, Sasha in Ibiza). Still, great songs, just a bit too familiar. Then some lounge-lizardy karaoke guy, last name Spooner, did some discoish songs that were decent, but served little purpose. I was ready for the band, and so didn't need Mr. Spooner. There was talk that he was the Spooner from DJ team Fischerspooner, but I've done nothing to verify that. Then, the extravaganza began. Lights a'plenty, throbbing bass (though the sound was never very good at the poorly named Sound Academy). I had mistakenly thought the venue had an 11pm curfew, but they lasted till 11:30, so we got what felt like an extra 1/2 hour of music. It was hotter than hell in there, but there was no chance of cooling down till afterwards, I wasn't leaving that. They played 11 of the 12 songs on the new album, of which "Harder You Get" is a poor song and the show's lowlight, and "Any Which Way" is a great song and was the show's highlight. Interspersed throughout were enough classics, which were great with the exception of "She's My Man", which started strong and really dropped off into boringness. A 3 song encore of Cover > New song > Classic made sure I walked out into the night with a smile on my face that still exists now. Thanks Scissor Sisters, when you come back I'll be there. The Setlist (*)=From the New Disc Night Work(*), Laura, Any Which Way(*), She's My Man, Something Like This(*), Whole New Way(*), Tits On the Radio, Harder You Get(*), Running Out(*), Take Your Mama, Kiss You Off, I Don't Feel Like Dancing, Skin Tight(*), Skin This Cat(*),Fire With Fire(*), Paul McCartney, Nightlife(*) ENC = Comfortably Numb, Invisible Light(*), Filthy/Gorgeous. Whew! :clapclap:
  19. It certainly should've been. Lyon (IIRC) said they weren't letting Wenger have Lloric (Is that his name? The french keeper during WC10?), and I guess he didnt have a secondary option. Oh well, bad luck filth, good luck in the race for 3rd.
  20. Bump, cuz it's today. Anyone going to this tonight? Should be a ton of way-over-the-top fun. Can't wait! :content:
  21. Oh ollie, what the hell? Wigan'd? Reminds me of when we got Wigan'd last August, but that turned out ok. Still, you just lost to Wigan. :chug:
  22. Thanks ollie, and yes, tough draw for Spurs. Ajax/Real group pretty insane. :content:
